WASHINGTON (AP) Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says lawmakers of both parties need to start working together now that Republicans have reduced the Democrats' dominance in the chamber.
Reid said on NBC's "Today" show that he planned to speak Wednesday with Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on ways to "build a consensus and move this country along."
Senate Democrats lost at least six seats on Election Day, but narrowly held their majority.

I want NO compromise with Marxism.
Hell, looking at the map, I can't believe this many Americans are still this stupid.
I thought I'd feel some glimmer of hope this morning that the Great American Experiment wouldn't be dashed on the rocks in my lifetime, but I truly don't.
Harry POS Reid Alert!
Life, liberty and the pursuit and destruction of totalitarins.
Lots of work remains to be done.
This guy, like the POS in the whitehouse, is a partisan POS.
If his mouth is moving, you know he is lying.
(o)bama will be saying the same thing today, they are probably programing the Tele-prompter to have his say just that. When either of they utter that phrase, the first question out of a fair media would be, where do you see areas of compromise? The answer, well, er, ah, you know, there are too many of them to answer.
This was set up by both POSs that is they have removed any dems from both the house and senate who might have compromised, all that is left are the extreme hardliners and true believers. We purged their problems is the way they look at it.
Watched a few other news shows, of the libtard ilk... they were all saying the same thing... “now we’re going to have to come together and work together to get things done”, was the gist of it. Well how about when you libs had complete control, no need to work together then I guess, huh? FU!
Bull Poo Poo
WE’ll compromise the way you did A$$hole!
This man should be flogged!
Shut up, you crook. Nobody cares what you think.
excellent
That's Old Math and it ain't gonna fly anymore.
BTW, because of the massive voter fraud on behalf of Reid's re-election, I'm henceforth giving him a promotion from "Dingy Harry" to "Dirty Harry".....and will so notify Rush and Clint.

This race clearly has corruption/fraud written all over it. Hopefully...rather than using the details to force Senate concessions from Harry ...Mitch McConnell will pursue the fraud that compromised the integrity of other Nevadans vote, and ultimately our Federal Senate chamber.
But I doubt it....chirp..chirp...chirp
Did Reid happen to mention what his side is willing to compromise? Didn’t think so.
McCain, Graham, Collins, Snowe are going to find out that are last week’s leftovers and their shelf life is fast fading. 2012 campaign starts now. CapnTax Grahamnesty has a bullseye on him, as far as I am concerned.
They can try to lead conservatives, follow them, or get out of the way. Ditto with those newly red state dhimmis (like Ben Nelson) who thought incumbents were unassailable.
harry...go be a greeter at a casino, you schlub. No one cares what you think.
Vote Fraud in Nevada with illegals coupled with the SEIU setting up the voting machines is what kept this asswipe in front. He’s a loser, and hopefully the House will start investigations into ALL the corruption/payoffs/backroom deals that got Socialized Medicine, Union Bailouts, and APPOINTMENT of un-elected Czars everywhere. De-funding EVERY Czar should be a top priority, along with Legislation to remove Unions from government employee representation.
