US President Barack Obama's trip to India next month is set to be the biggest ever by any US president in terms of the protocol and logistics.(Snip) He will be accompanied by US first lady Micehlle Obama and their daughters Malia and Sasha. Earlier, Obama's daughters Sasha and Malia were not to be part of the trip. But sources revealed that Michelle's opinion prevailed and now the girls would accompany the first American couple to India.

WASHINGTON: When former US President Bill Clinton visited India in 2000, he was accompanied by his Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
When George W Bush followed in 2006, his Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was in tow.
But when President Barack Obama visits India early next month, his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be conspicuous by her absence.
While this may sound unusual, officials suggest it is simply because of a heavy diplomatic calendar. Hillary, along with Defence Secretary Robert Gates, will be away in Canberra for the US-Australia ministerial talks, when Obama undertakes his November 6-9 visit to India.
Maybe he’s going to hire some new IT support people while he’s there...see...he’s “creating jobs”. /sarc

Elaborate security arrangements
The presidential entourage will have 40 aircraft, including the Air Force One that will ferry the president. There will be six armoured cars, including the Barack Mobile, a Cadillac.
The Cadillac limousine is equipped with a mini communication centre to enable Obama to be in touch with the White House, US vice president and the US strategic command. It also has the US nuke launch codes and the nuclear switch for the president. It can also withstand a chemical or germ warfare or even a bomb attack.
The secret service will set up two command posts in Delhi and Mumbai which will act as the communication nerve centres. These centres will keep an eye on each movement by the president with real time satellite monitoring.
Three Marine One choppers will be reassembled in India to ferry Obama and his family. These helicopters will also assist in evacuation in case of an emergency.
Moreover, 30 sniffer dogs will be put on service to boost the security arrangements during Obama’s visit.
He’s doing it now before new new Congress cuts his purse strings.
I hope every Obama voter who can’t pay their mortgage or afford a vacation sees this and begins to understand the character of this man.
The article didn’t offer a reason for the visit, other than a trip to the Taj Mahal. Hm. I suppose it’s yet another vacation. I’m looking forward to his final vacation .. OUT of OUR HOUSE. Forever.

He is going to India for what reason. With the condition of the US right now, you would think he would stay here and attempt to fix things. That is if he really cared. Personally, I don’t think he cares about us. He’s just on another vacation at the countries expense.
