Time for Maes to withdraw and endorse Tancredo....the so called leaders in the tea parties of CO should demand it...

Hewitt is pro-amnesty and not a conservative...

Does he still have his talk show on NPR????

Hewitt is a ‘comprehensive immigration reform’ advocate.

I had no idea. In other words, he's for amnesty. What a nit. He no doubt lives a very sheltered life unaffected by illegal immigration. He also no doubt loves showing how "tolerant" he is.

The current requirement is to obtain 10% in Governers race.

I would think that adding to the law that any party that is able to elect a member of their part to fill either a Federal Senate or Representative seat has the option of being considered a major party.

I think you are correct. Shouldn’t type without thinking.

The law will likely need revision to make things more reasonable for the ACP, as well.

It's a little dicey mixing federal and state performance. I'd suggest registration numbers above 10% as an additional way to be a major party.

“Time for Maes to withdraw and endorse Tancredo.”

Absolutely, do we have an E-mail for Maes?

A threshold has been reached.

There is no longer any reason for anyone to vote for Maes. Even the hard-core GOP party leaders need to realize that there is nothing to be gained by supporting Maes.

Hewitt is a ‘comprehensive immigration reform’ advocate. Tancredo is one of the few congressional leaders who had the balls to stand up to the establishment of both party’s and fight illegal immigration, this country’s number one problem.

Tancredo winning in COL will make a lot of Liberal, pro-illegal alien RINOs heads explode.

I can remember when Tanc first ran....there was so much negative posting about him here. My how that has changed

It is always best to vote Third Party Conservative over a Liberal RINO or a candidate supported by Liberal RINOs. Nothing will get the GOP back to conservative if 3d Party conservatives become a threat

Tanc is going to win this....

Ok, I’m cool with that. As for the Federal issue, it seems foolish to me that enough people would vote to fill a Federal seat would automaticly mean that it was a major party.

At this point, a vote for GOP is a wasted vote; a vote for GOP is a vote for the Democrat.

Weird. But cool.

The Dem has nowhere to go. He’s probably maxed out.

The Republican has nowhere to go but down.

And all the votes the Republican is losing are going to Tancredo.

Do the math...

I don't have a comment. Just wanted to see that in print again...

LOL...

I’m not a big Trancredo fan. But this is pretty humorous and another good kick in the pants for the GOP establishment. Plus, Maes is a really sucky candidate. Trancredo is going to win. Earlier analysis is right....Maes and Hickenlooper have nowhere to go but down.

“...he has not distinguished between legal and illegal immigrants.”

So called Legal immigration is way to high and will overrun us as well. Might a few years longer, but the country will be taken away from us just the same.

The trouble is that the GOP candidate is a conservative TEA party candidate. He is just a bad candidate on non-philosophical grounds.

“I don’t wish to kill off the pub party like you do I just want it to change....”

In this case the COGOP have shot themselves...They will rise up again in 4 years, humbled and stronger and more Conservative (one can only hope!)

Can Tancredo run as an I and an R in 2014, essentially on both lines (kind of like in New York with Conservative and R lines on the ballot?)

“No cooperation with Holder’s Dept. of Injustice in administrative amnesty programs.”

If Tancredo wins, AZ and CO will be coming on strong on the illegal immigration issues. What about TX and others? We can only hope for sanity in this area and I think it will continue to be a huge issue right into 2012.
