House GOP Leader John Boehner comments exclusively on the Juan Williams firing to National Review Online:
We need to face facts our government is broke, Boehner tells us. Washington is borrowing 37 cents of every dollar it spends from our kids and grandkids. Given that, I think its reasonable to ask why Congress is spending taxpayers money to support a left-wing radio network and in the wake of Juan Williams firing, its clearer than ever thats what NPR is.

Notice all those who are openly speaking out against the firing of Juan Williams are REPUBLICANS (e.g. Boehner, Palin, Huckabee).
I have yet to hear one Democrat speak out in Defense of Williams.

Notice all those who are openly speaking out ...
Talk is cheap and I've been hearing it since the GOP took control of Congress back in the 90s.
The question is - WTH are they going to grow a set and DO something about it?

Juan Williams was right. But, would boehner ask the same question if this was a right wing network? Why are we funding a right wing network? Dont think so.

Or ANY network.
Or about 90% of the social engineering/political pork/meddling/inspecting/regulating/corruption/buddy supporting crap they are involved in.
Downsize.
Significantly. Permanently.

Obama will be unable to hold himself back from chiming in, too. This is awesome. The timing is impeccable.

And, We shall monitor all remarks by employees to be sure no one defends the racist Williams. It is in Our interest, as CEO of the Democratic Party that all employees tow the mark. My enforcers, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid shall insure this, and report to me any transgressors.

I don’t think that we should need to have an NPR when a private entity, MSNBC, spews leftist nonsense so much better. The private sector usually does things right!
To: DallasSun
Can you name the Right Wing network tax dollars are used to support?
To: WebFocus
They had to fire his buddy for him to notice there was a problem with NPR?

The government has no business funding broadcasters. It’s time to pull the plug.
