Appreciate your feedback.

Are any plans paying for medical coverage?

Guess I must make some kind of choice starting November 15th

Salvation,

If you don’t mind, I’m wondering what kind of coverage you had previously and what was the monthly premium?

Well as we tried to tell everybody before this insane health care scheme got passed: "If you think health care is expensive now, just wait until it's FREE!"

All we can do now is REMEMBER in NOVEMBER.

Our plan went up 120.00 along with copay and bennie's have been cut. They said in the forms for 2011 that this was due to the new health plan.

Also they say that they are trying to “grandfather” our policies in. That's usually good but not this time. They are talking about us NOT being able to get the so-called new benefits. What I took from it was that we would be paying for the new health care but not getting any benefits from it. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

Sounds like you’re talking about a Medicare Advantage plan. The notice should say that you have to make another choice between Nov. 15 and the end of the year. You can either pick another Medicare Advantage plan (so far most are still in business), or go back to original Medicare Part B. If you do the latter, you’ll want to get a part D drug plan, and consider whether adding a Medigap policy makes sense for you.

Strange you posted this today.... we had a big meeting today where we received an overview of our 2011 coverage. Short answer: “due to The Health care Reform Act, my monthly premiums are going up substantially, more than 10%, and things like MRIs will no longer be covered.”

A lot of stunned Obama supporters were in the audience. The look on their faces was priceless, we'll not priceless, I guess I paid for it with my new higher premiums. I must have missed something, because Obama promised that the insurance would cost less and cover more.
