There are typos and then there are complete and utter catastrophes.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the name of Green Party gubernatorial candidate Rich Whitney is misspelled "Rich Whitey" on electronic-voting machines in 23 wards -- "about half in predominantly African-American areas." The error only occurs on screens voters would see when they are reviewing their choices (Whitney's name appears correctly on the initial screens), but officials say the error cannot be corrected before election day.
Jim Allen, spokesman for the Chicago Board of Elections, told the Sun-Times he expects 90% of votes on election day to be cast on paper ballots -- minimizing the number of voters who would see the misspelling.
"I don't want to be identified as 'Whitey.' If this is happening in primarily African-American wards, that's an even bigger concern," Whitney told the Sun-Times. The paper says he's considering legal action. "I don't know if this is machine politics at play or why this happened."
The latest Rasmussen poll shows Whitney drawing just 2% of the vote.
Diversity racism is our strength.
If he gets electd, does he have to serve as “Governor Rich Whitey”? Heck, even I’d vote for that.
You can’t make this stuff up
LOL - Damn, I wish I could vote there... that way I could say I voted for “Rich Whity.”

It is too bad that it isn’t grammatically correct. Rich his middle name, and his first name begins with ‘A’ where he would use just an initial.
We must do everything we can to keep those ‘unclean spirits’ from around Barack and Michelle, even if it means
calling a Whitney a Rich Whitey.......if you ask me this is nothing more that the white version of the N word...somebody’s ass should be fired and then prosecuted for civil rights violations as well as hate crimes laws.
Another voting problem in Illinois.
I’m thinking that perhaps......nah, couldn’t be.
The Illinois Democrat machine is doing everything they can to steal the election. Not sending out military ballots, and now making dissuading potential Democrat voters from voting for the Green Party candidate instead.
LOLOLOL
You have to hand it to the Democrats. When they cheat, they just let it all hang out there!
“...Naw, couldnt be...”
Yup you got it, this far out how hard is it to fix the supposed problem; they’re electronic-voting machines.
Lets make a list: Not sending out military ballots, the dead, illegals, double voting and ballot stuffing to maintain their patronage system as replacement for patriotism.
It seems the fellow’s bumper sticker is incorrect. It should say, “Don’t Blame Me, I Voted for (Rich) Whitey for Governor”
You can’t get any dirtier than a dem. Goodness, gracious can’t have blacks vote for the green party. They might think it’s the Alvin Greene Party and vote for him by mistake. So they figured this would take care of that. Maybe they put the other 50% of the misspellings in republican strongholds and hope it will cause the voters to get confused and vote for Rich Whitey instead of the republican.
I’m sure this could happen to anybody but their own dem candidate. They don’t even bother to try to be subtle anymore. They just cheat openly.
Not like he’s gonna get any of THOSE votes anyway....
