Wow! That’s the first time they showed that shot, looking upwards in the tunnel as the capsule rises...

But is anyone else outraged with the medical people who are all wringing their hands about panic attacks and freaking out and on and on like these MEN arent miners who are used to small places and risk. They act like a damned much of wailing mummies. I mean, for crying out loud.
And CNN is going nuts over praying like they are in shock that anyone would thank God for living thru this.
The RAT atheists worship at the alter of psychology, and the high priests are the psychiatrists. Freud is one of their gods.
There it is on full display...and yeah, I guess I'm outraged.

Even FNC hoping for blood and guts -- "All it takes is for one rock to dislodge, and this thing could take a turn for the worse."
Last night someone posted that FoxNews was using a 30-second delay, just in case something happened.

Awaiting #12 now. This is moving faster than they originally anticipated.

We’re watching courageous men who have risen above a terrifying ordeal by relying on their Christian faith. It’s no surprise to see CNN and MSNBC respond like vampires presented with a silver cross.

Cool, eh?
But tell you what, if it was me, I’d want more of a roof on that thing.
Even a small rock could give you one heck of a thumping if it came down 2000 feet!

I know the US played a big role in this rescue and I do have pride in my own nation. BUT... I think Chile can own this one in the eyes of the world and more importantly among themselves. The Americans who discreetly disappeared once the rescue shaft was completed, actually denied Obongo the ability to swoop in and take credit.
I wonder if they did that on purpose, and if they are conservatives.

They thought about a roof but then decided it would be better to have a loose rock fall into and through the cage than to be diverted to the side get stuck between the capsule and the wall of the bore.

Makes sense.
AFAIK, none of the guys have reported any rocks falling as they were coming up. Let’s hope it stays that way!

They mounted the lid camera on top after the ~5th extraction. During the roller greasing process. With duct-tape no-less.
It looks like there’s plenty of metal and hardware between the upside and the helmet. I’m sure the cable is attached to a fairly thick hard-point.
Another one going in? Getting a little too comfortable for my taste.

The Americans who discreetly disappeared once the rescue shaft was completed, actually denied Obongo the ability to swoop in and take credit. I hadn't thought of that possibility, although I noted that Americans were conspicuously absent at the scene... I hope that's what happened.

Did they send another one down? I missed him getting in the capsule, or they were showing something else...

Didn’t someone post last night that the Americans were staying somewhere nearby and deliberately chose to stay out of the limelight (let this be Chile’s moment)
A show of class all around. Pinera reminds me of Bush on the scene after 9/11. He and his wife were up until 3pm or so greeting these guys and standing with and encouraging their wives. Nice to see a president who cares (for a change).

It certainly looked like someone going in, Orange team suit. I haven’t seen any replay’s on either of the streams I’m watching.
I believe that makes 4 down-hole.

LOL - I think our homeschool today will have to be a unit on “Chile”. I’m sure we can count this towards Science (Geology), Social Studies (Chile), Spanish for sure, what else? (jk)
