Facing a 15 minute ride with a chance of being trapped in that coffin, inside of a solid rock tube, could cause clausterphobia even in a miner.

Remember that little girl in Texas trapped in a back yard well, back in the 80s? Smae thing we all watched it live, I think she was rescued on Friday night, grown men at the bars were crying.

Right!
I would need a face mask and some soothing music, or a interesting funny book to listen to on the way up.
Anyone know if Fox is going to give full coverage to the rescue? They have it on now, but are breaking away.

Thanks for the great screen shots guys. Our hearts and prayers go out to the miners and their families. What an absolutely incredible story and a tribute to the human spirit.

I look forward to this misery ending for those miners and thier families being reunited. As for the man with the mistress and wife waiting, I hope he manages to stay alive beyond getting out of the hole.

Americans drilled the whole with an American drill from PA. They got the job done 2 months earlier than expected. No manyana.
The Chileans appears to be turning this into a major photo-op. Americans are gone now and the sense of urgency is lacking.
I hope the Americans are available to make sure this is done correctly.

I look forward to all this being over. I just hope they don’t get shoved into the talk show circuit before they’re ready.
