An overwhelming majority of American Jews believe that the goal of the Arabs "is not the return of occupied territories but rather the destruction of Israel," according to a recent poll released by the American Jewish Committee.
Approximately 76% of respondents in the AJC's fall 2010 Survey of American Jewish Opinion agreed with a question to that effect, while only 20% disagreed.
Meanwhile, 95% of the American Jews think Palestinians should be required to recognize Israel as a Jewish state in any future peace settlement.

Well, wait! This poll only looks at the percentage of American Jews who believe Arabs want to destory Israel. That doesn’t speak to the percentage of American Jews who voted for Obozo, and who continue to support The One! So, I’m thinking that the percentage of American Jews who are idiots may just far exceed 24%.
Of that percentage, how many are OK with it?
My question as well. Even though the return of Isralis to Israel is biblical and they just returned to their land, why do liberal Jews hate Israel so. I really don’t get it.

Maybe the 24% represents the grade school vote.

The funny thing is that the Jewish community in the U.S. will likely become more conservative over time, because the Orthodox HAVE CHILDREN and REMAIN JEWISH.

I have seen this sentiment in regards to conservatives in general over the years, and the big problem with it is that conservatism isn't hereditary.

They don’t hate Israel so much as they hate any organized religion that would infringe on their secular lifestyle.
