According to Deadline, Wonder Woman is making a comeback to T.V. David E. Kelly will be producing and writing the new series.
Some of us women remember watching the most famous superhero in the universe, twirl into one hot colorful outfit, sending the feminist message of total girl power.
Linda Jean Córdova Carter the daughter of a Mexican immigrant mother and Irish father played the role of this kick ass Amazon woman.

I still recall Paul Bartel giving her a hard time at a film festival screening one year after her film drew scant attendence and he knowingly asked how her "husband's" new picture was doing (her husband shared the name "Robert Altman" only he was making headlines that week for a federal investigation of the BCCI scandal and is NOT a movie director).

It’s not far off the mark from the 1970s failed pilot for a comedic Wonder Woman series in the 1970s (you may be able to find the 5 minute clip on Youtube). Wonder lived at home with her mom and shared much in common with Mary Hartman it would seem.
Now that the Nazis are gone along with the buck toothed round eye glassed Japanese with samurai swords, who will she go after?? Probably not the Islamic Terrorist, just the Tea Partyers, and Veteran soldiers.

I am not sure about Mexico but there was a bit on 60 Minutes many years ago about Spain. The most powerful and influential family typically had blond hair and blue eyes.

No, in order for it to succeed they need to keep the same cheesy sound effect from the old show whenever Wonder Woman jumps or throws something or does something super powerful.
