House Republicans have been relatively successful this week at presenting a united front around their Pledge to America, but only through a strategic outreach campaign to lawmakers, media and outside groups, that has managed to keep deep dissatisfaction over several key issues largely under wraps.
Still, interviews with Republican aides reveal that many in the GOP caucus are unhappy that there was no earmark ban and no promise to pass a balanced budget amendment in the proposal, which was unveiled Thursday by House Minority Leader John Boehner. The inclusion of a health insurance provision considered to be mandate angered many conservative lawmakers.

Yes, I actually hold conversation with my friends.
How about you?
Do you actually talk to anyone in forum without tossing insults?

Oh...how?
If there's a serious Democrat proposal to cut or freeze spending, Republicans should embrace it. That won't happen.

Funny, you’ve done alot of insulting here in this thread for no rational reason.
You have had no reason for your behavior in this thread.
You keep right on being insulting, at least I know I have friends.
And in the end, when it is all said and done, what matters most is the impression we leave with others.
No sadder epitaph for a man is there than this: He was an insulting jerk and nobody will miss him now that he’s gone.

And again with the useless meaningless insults.
So, are you here to discuss the article or not?
Have you made up your mind on that yet?

“Balanced Budget and no Earmarks was critically important. Dems will play off that. “
How so? They are worse on these ... “VOTE FOR US, GO FOR THE GREATER EVIL.”

Remember how the Dems took credit for the stuff that was in the Contract with America?
They’ll try it again.
But this time we’re here to counter that.

AIP is a Meta-Party!!!
Remind me again how many candidates AIP has in Congress EV?
Are you guys friends with the Falconers or are you fighting them every inch of the way for your 0.5%?
To: Servant of the Cross
If you knew what a "meta" party was you'd know that we would support Republicans if they were reliably personhood pro-life, peace through strength, pro-national sovereignty and border security, pro-natural family, pro-fundamental tax reform, constitutionalists.
So, Mr. "Servant of the Cross," since you're obviously still a Republican, you might want to ask some deeper questions about why folks who take that principled stance don't think they have anybody, regardless of party, in Congress they can rely on to actually keep their oaths of office.

Are you guys friends with the Falconers or are you fighting them every inch of the way for your 0.5%? I know nothing about them. But America's Independent Party is the third largest party in America, based on voter registrations.

Do you believe Senator Jim DeMint and Congressman Mike Pence fit that description?
To: Servant of the Cross
DeMint is a Mitt Romney supporter. Why would I trust someone who would support the most liberal Governor in history for president?
Pence, along with the rest of his colleagues, refused to demand Obama’s credentials when they counted the electoral votes. He also voted for Stupak-Pitts, which funded abortions. So did the rest of his caucus, except for Shadegg, who voted “present.”
Is it too much to ask that they simply keep their oath of office and defend innocent human life? The Founders said that was the main reason government exists.
