House Republicans have been relatively successful this week at presenting a united front around their Pledge to America, but only through a strategic outreach campaign to lawmakers, media and outside groups, that has managed to keep deep dissatisfaction over several key issues largely under wraps.
Still, interviews with Republican aides reveal that many in the GOP caucus are unhappy that there was no earmark ban and no promise to pass a balanced budget amendment in the proposal, which was unveiled Thursday by House Minority Leader John Boehner. The inclusion of a health insurance provision considered to be mandate angered many conservative lawmakers.

I think the RNC has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC.

I'd rather have
the LP pledge, with its flaws and imperfections, than this sack of feces being presented to us by the RINOpublican establishment.

I would rather the whole house of cards collapse and do a constitutional "Restart" than keep electing POS RINOs, and dealing with their idiot kool-aid guzzling supporters... just sayin! What? You don't want another McCain? But he's a mavahwick! He's the only way we'll win! Katie Couric and the rest of the EneMedia told me so!

If they don't get elected, they can't do anything. If they don't know what to do in the first place, or are unable to publicly articulate and defend it, then getting elected is an exercise in futility.
To: GOPavenger33
They kept talking about realism. They wanted it to be realistic, something we could do, not pipe dreams
Banning earmarks and setting a bold restorative vision are NOT pipe dreams. They’re AMERICAN dreams, the promise and duty of responsibility and leadership, and if the GOP had any leaders that were willing to step up we could make those dreams come true.
Instead, we have a lukewarm mush of cowardly half-measures.
Will I take half a loaf instead of a brick of poison? Yes. But I wish GOP leaders had a spine instead of a wet noodle.

Its not just the trolls causing such dissension... McCain, Murkowski, Castle and a host of other RINOs come to mind. You forgot Gingrich, Specter and Rove.

Whatever.
I’m having a good laugh at all of those who are still trusting Republican lip service. Very sad, but funny, that anyone would still believe these people.
Go ahead Charlie Brown. I’m SURE Lucy will let you kick the football this time!

Well, I don't deal with hypocrisy well either, and since we both agree that Marxists are killing our Republic, and that we shouldn't 'haphazardly vote GOP' (whoever said that?? LOL), then we OUGHT to be on the same side.
So stop with the name calling and fight for conservatism along with conservative Republicans who are trying to cleanse the party.
The future of the nation is at stake.

Yeah well why don't you "reach across the isle" and give the GOPBOTS the same line... just sayin!
The greatest danger we face now, is that the "People" are going to grasp for the first line that is thrown to them as they are hurtling towards the waterfall... and should that line be tossed by another RINO, the Republic's destruction will be complete.
Although I hope you are correct and the GOP is worth saving, YOU and others need to get on the right side of this fight and stand with principles, instead of a corrupted political party that has all but abandoned you.
Should the GOP gain some spine, stand up and actually start to fight back by putting up conservative candidates, I will give them a look... but should they play the same old game and toss up another RINO... asta la vista, baby! I'll wait for the crash and work towards a constitutional "reset"

The first time I read it all I could think of was “LAME”. It was so obvious that they were just watered down words without any spirit.
