Sorry, that certain loser WILL lose on Nov. 2. As much as I detest RINOS like Castle there is no chance that O’Donnell will win the general. We are throwing away a Senate seat by acting like 6 year olds who want everything done our way. Tell me, if we lose control of the Senate by 1 seat what has been accomplished by throwing a tantrum and nominating an unelectable candidate. Hunting RINOS is a worthy goal i. e. Murkowski and Bennett since there is little chance of losing these seats. Think about it. We need to choose our battles carefully; do the names Sotomeyer and Kagan ring a bell? Committee chairmanships are important. If I’m wrong I’ll eat a large plate of crow.

Really bad timing.

Go sulk in someone else’s backyard. I hear there’s room over at Mike Castle’s place.

You got a credit card handy to put up a bet on a Vegas bookie on that.

Castle was more liberal than some Democrats, he needed to go. It’s now or never, true conservatives have a real shot this year.

“We are throwing away a Senate seat by acting like 6 year olds who want everything done our way.”

Speaking as one of those 6 year olds... sorry. No more votes for RINOS. Not EVER. Holding my nose and voting for that pathetic POS John McCain was the last time I’m *EVER* going to do that. And... yes, even if that means we lose the seat. I don’t care. If we lose the seat, we STILL win in the long run because some back-stabbing traitorous mole RAT-wannabe RINO is out of a job.

Blah, blah, blah blah!

Apparently, you missed the part where O'Donnell couldn't win the primary, either.

We accomplished this: the Delaware Republican Party is no longer controlled by a leftist. As for the Senate "majority" - the guy voted with Dems nearly all the time anyway.

This isn't a tantrum, Mr. Jennings. It's a revolution.

The Republican voter turnout was 2.5 times expected - totally eclipsed the Democrat primary by several times over ... And the Republican Candidate - a Conservative who got 2.5 times the expected turnout - won’t trounce the Democrat too — what a joke... You don’t think that many many who voted for Castle won’t turn out to vote for O’Donald... WOW!!! totally nutty to think the Delaware Republicans won’t surge out to vote for her... sour grapes....

Than why not man up and do the job? Castle is a Democrat with R surname. He is not a fiscal conservative because he is for Cap and Trade.

Not only that, now Dems do not need to spend a dime in the state. That frees up a chunk of money which can go to the tight races in CO, IL or WA.

I detest Castle, but 1 Senate seat was just thrown away, and it can actually cost more than 1 seat.

What you are saying makes no sense at all. If Castle won tonight, we would have already lost a senate seat. This is because the gun-grabbing cap-and-trading Castle is NOT a conservative but a liberal. His election tonight would have put an automatic win in the (D) column because either with Castle or that guy Coons, the Democrats would have gained a seat.

At least with O'Donnell, we have a real chance to GAIN an additional senate seat in November with a real conservative.

Now that Christine O'Donnell has won a smashing victory against an entrenched liberal, she will gather a lot of momentum over the next 7 weeks.

allblues: “We are throwing away a Senate seat by acting like 6 year olds who want everything done our way.”

Yeah, cause expecting a candidate to vote with us MOST of the time, especially on the big issues like cap and trade, gun control, abortion and gay marriage, is just so unreasonable /s.

If the seat is lost, so be it. However, a true conservative (hint hint) would be getting ready to do whatever is necessary to back our nominees. After all, it’s time to come together and do the absolute best we can with the candidates we selected. Get it?
