Yeah, that comment confused me at first - but I got his point:
O'Donnell's supporters are more motivated, and they'll vote no matter what. The smaller overall turnout would mean that a greater percentage of the voters would be from this 'motivated group'. If there was a large overall turnout, the 'motivated group' would be watered down by the shiftless sorts who had nothing better to do than to go to the voter's booth today -- and might vote for Castle because they were familiar with his name...
At least that's what I think that was his theory.
It doesn't matter - just vote and don't let the media, or other hecklers, discourage you. Man proposes but God disposes...
I hope Palin gave her some advice on how to handle that.
What did you think they would praise her? lol
Good sign she’s gonna win. :)
And it looks like Urquhart gonna pull it out!
Thats a major victory in itself...tell these other fine Freepers why THIS race is as important as the ODonnell/Castle race.

Yes, please tell us!

CHRISTINE ODONNELL 6661 170 6831 55 . 9 %
Cool O'Donnell up by almost 12%. I'm calling it at 21.8% of the Districts reported for O'Donnell- a win.
:-0
About a third of the precincts are in.
20K votes cast.
I thought 20K was the projected TOTAL turnout.
Maybe I missed something.

Looks like he’s not going to get the chance to vote with his friends across the aisle!
From Michelle Malkin website...
Delaware is on the front-burner tonight as seven states tally up primary votes.
The DE Secretary of State page has crashed due to massive traffic.
Via Twitter, poll jockeys are reporting that Christine ODonnell is leading Mike Castle in the DE Senate GOP primary by 55-45 with 47 percent reporting. Yowza.
CNN is already ripping her!
That means they must know something we don’t know.... i.e. exit polling.
Optimism based on knowledge.
It's a hard combination to beat. :)
Yeah, like your style too. Positive, strong, confident.
Castle should concede soon and show some class.
Wow, unless there's a big hold-back in New Castle County, this looks very promising for O'Donnell.
I wonder how much of her support is from those that just got sick of Castle's negativity. I have to admit, I wasn't sure who I wanted ("electability" and all that), but Castle seems a little more crappy every day.
She is storming the Castle and he is being tumbled from the turrets! HA!
FWIW, if Castle loses, I think the RNC may pose a bigger threat to conservatives than the ‘Rats...
