Republican candidates have jumped out to double-digit leads in both the Ohio governor’s and Senate races, according to a Columbus Dispatch poll conducted Aug. 25 -Sept. 3.

In the gubernatorial contest, former Republican Rep. John Kasich leads Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland by 49 percent to 37 percent, with 4 percent preferring some other candidate and 10 percent undecided.

almost at the end of the clip there was a black man in a beret who passes by the screen, he was facing away from Strickland as he was yelling (it kind of looked security ).

As the dems sink farther, their rants will become shriller. Worse, the POS in charge will begin flailing about and what he can do in a lame duck session may be really bad for the USA. Nothing is worse than a wounded preditor animal.

Signs are surfacing the Hilebeast is going to take him on in 2012. If the dems get really trounced in November, he will be vulnerable. I just hope the electorate is not stupid again in 2012, both are equally bad for the USA. This one is a egotistic facist, the other a calculating socialist.

Thanks for posting this. Perfect analogy with the 'Dean Scream'. Strickland is toast here in Ohio. He has this 'reasonable' 'moderate' 'good guy' persona within the less informed electorate. This is the stuff that will blow that up. I've forwarded to several 'independents' who still say that Strickland is a good guy.

When David Letterman rolled the video Tuesday, Strickland's head appeared to explode at the end of the speech. "Did you see Ted Strickland ranting and raving?" he asked the audience. "Here's a little tip, Ted: cut back on the Red Bull."

On his program, Jay Leno quipped: "I'm not an expert in politics, but I think it's a bad sign when your speech ends with your aides shooting you with a tranquilizer gun."
