"Some powerful interests who had been dominating the agenda in Washington for a very long time and they're not always happy with me. They talk about me like a dog. That's not in my prepared remarks, but it's true," he told a crowd largely consisting of union members.

Obama: "They talk about me like a dog"He doesn't have the chops to quote Hendrix. Thanks ColdOne.
I agree. It was a very strange thing to say.
“They talk about me like a dog” sounds like something Ahmadinejad would say and it isn’t even grammatical. Does this mean they talk about him the way a dog would talk about him? LOL!
The guy is a dim bulb. But - watch out - he’s an angry dim bulb.
How unPresidential can you get?
Most folks talk to dogs lovingly.
Maybe the only dog talk he has heard is from Michael Vick or Michelle who orders hims to “Sit, Lie Down, Roll Over and Beg”.
Aww, poor me. Poor, poor me. Grow a spine, pansy.
Welcome to FR. I have a feeling there are going to be lots of thousand comment threads in the near future.
Thank you. I agree with you. We live in times that demand voices of dissent against what is happening to our country.
Now I’m starting to lean more towards the “Obama as bumbling fool” version as opposed to the “Obama as brilliant strategist.”
No, no, no... Wife not dog. Wife is Wookie.
Where affirmative Action and the Peter Principle collide...
I've been friends with many a dog OBummer and you're no dog.......You're a stinking Rat!!!
There are threads running into tens of thousands of replies. You’ll learn to recognize the hot-button ones soon enough, lol. I dive right in to most of them, it’s a real donneybrook and very entertaining if you’re so inclined. If that’s not your cup of tea, just read without posting or bypass them altogether.
Well-known ones would be re-enactments of the Protestant Reformation and Catholic Counter-Reformation from the Religion Forum, Civil War threads, Pit Bull threads, “Birther” threads and any thread favorable to whomever we settle upon *not* wanting as nominee when 2012 rolls around.
Hang onto your hat if Newt or der Mittster start getting any traction. For reference, look for the Rooty-Tooter (Rudy Giuliani supporter) “Bug Zapper” thread. Whole new forums have sprung up, withered and died over that sort of thing.
I assume this one has not escaped your eyes.
Spot on. What you said. And a dog is more loyal than this clown.
Wow, Obama can't say a grammatically correct sentence without his "prepared remarks."
This statement is ambiguous, to say the least.
Do "they" talk about Mr. Obama like a dog (talks about Mr. Obama)?
Or do they talk about him as if he were a dog?
I would never insult my dog by comparing him to Obama, and my dog refuses to talk about the president, although he shows contempt in other ways.
But this dog takes ALL my bacon. Without asking.
