The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
Jeb Bush with his wife Columba and his son Jeb Jr.

Thank you for all the fabulous photos you post. These pictures are TERRIFIC! What great group pics.
Again, thank you!
Pattyvita, I can’t stop smiling!! Thank you, sooo much, for these fantastic pictures. How wonderful to see so many from the Bush family all together at this very special event. The picture of W and his Dad is very special.
Thank you, pattyvita, for taking the time to post these and so many other pictures of our wonderful George W. and his family. These give us something to smile about during this difficult time in our country.
Thank you so much!
Ahhhh...a REAL man! What a breath of fresh air! I feel cleansed! :)
They make me laugh, and they make me cry.
Oh, what we have lost in this country!
This wonderful family will never be appreciated as they should be.
('Cept by US! :)
Thank you for these Wonderful Pics!
You’re very welcome Jtill. The photos are keepsakes. Very powerful and magnificent.
You’re very welcome 4integrity. It’s not that often that you get to see many members of the Bush family in one place to celebrate the life of a good man they all love very much.
Those two pics of GW and Bush 41 speaks volumes of a special father-son bond they share together. Very lovely and heartwarming.
You’re very welcome oldteen. Glad you’ve enjoyed the pics.
Yes, you’re right! President Bush is the embodiment of a real man who has supported our military through thick and thin. I’ll take a rugged, down-to-earth man with some flaws over the snooty Marxist who has done everything he can to stab the military in the back!
I don’t blame you Ohio. This country has suffered a great deal of pain and loss ever since W left office.
There are some bone-headed fools here on FR who absolutely despise the Bushes because they didn’t live up to these people’s expectations of being “pure conservatives.” Well, they should be ashamed of themselves. Their hatred towards the Bush family is pretty unhealthy and borderline scary, perhaps more so than the hatred coming from the liberal left.
My pleasure, Kitty. Appreciate your kind words!
Right on Pattyvita! Sometimes I wonder if some of them (not all) are from the left? They act like those who are!
