A Month in the life of George W. Bush (News and many Photos) September 2005
georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/news ^ | September 5, 2010

Posted on 09/05/2010 5:29:14 PM PDT by Kaslin

The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bush’s Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005

Yes indeed, LUV. President Bush clearly was the star of the show yesterday. He was dynamic and had everyone in stitches. Obozo tried to ruin GW’s day by taking potshots at him but he ended up looking like a idiotic fool.

Fortunately, Pres. Bush held his own and did not let that small pathetic man overshadow him on his special day!

I miss President Bush too. The day he left office in 2009, it was as though America lost a living legend :(

No problem, Kaslin. I made sure the exclude all photos of the Obozos. They were trying to spoil the Bushes’ day, which wasn’t surprising because they have no shame. Anyway, I’m very proud that President and Laura Bush handled themselves with such class and good humor. They deserved to celebrate without some sour grapes ruining the party!

I like the pic with the cartoon thought bubble, that’s clever. Yeah, can’t enough of GW’s wink either. He still has that magical charm!

To: dmd25

Thanks dmd25. Yeah, it was easy just to ignore posting photos of the Obozos. After all, it was President and Laura Bush’s special day, not the current occupiers of the White House.

Good to hear from you again!

Thank you, pattyvita, for these WONDERFUL pictures! I watched the ceremony and it just brought back such good feelings about a President and First Lady who love our great country.
