I saw the clip with military at Ft. Bliss (how DARE he) saying he wasn’t “going to take a victory lap.”

I agree, I said he looks bad, sounded strange. And he just had what the liberal media called, a wonderful vacation. I think he did not want to come back.
I think he hates the work of being president, but loved the attention and the perks and everyone believing he was "the one." Now, he is seeing that the people he had pulled into his fog have left and don't adore him. Narcissists cannot handle that. They go into some depression and try to get away. He has been trying to get away for some time. But he cannot leave this job like he left every other one he ever had where he never worked for more than two years. He is stuck. So he is emotionally distressed. It is showing.
I have been in & out all day working in the yard. I passed on both speeches. I could not stomach the Pretender today.
He used “as long as I am President” in both speeches? Interesting. I need to read the transcripts for context. The first thing which pops into my brain is the classic parental line “as long as you live in this house..” (have used it many times myself, LOL!)

That or if he’s really doing a campaign speech then he’s letting his base know that this is another campaign promise accomplished. And will continue to destroy America for another term if given a chance at another term. Doesn’t matter that his machinations has caused Iraq to be unsettled, and Afghanistan is a complete FUBAR. He can now check Iraq off his to do list.
