Obama says he ignored Beck rally
He seemed intent on casting himself as above the political fray, saying he had more important work to do than to engage in the back and forth of the political “silly season.”
For example, Obama said he did not watch any of Fox News Channel host Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally Saturday on the National Mall.
“It’s not surprising that somebody like a Mr. Beck is able to stir up a certain portion of the country. That's been true throughout our history,” he said. But “I’m making decisions that are not necessarily good for the nightly news and not good for the next election, but for the next generations.”

Are there any final numbers on the rally? I know Glenn was hoping for at least 100,000, but I’ve heard some who were there who thought there were at least 750,000.
It’s hard to find the real numbers, especially in the MSM.
Translation: I have nothing in common with patriotic Americans and am doing all I can to undo the greatness of the country they love.

Lots of people probably already said this, but “Obama says...” cannot be followed by any true statement.
Sometimes I think that Obama is more like “Nasty Nellie Olson” from “Little House On The Prairie”! In the series, for most of it, she would bribe, blackmail, threaten, and belittle other children. In the end though, she grew up and became much more likable and modest. She more or less redeemed herself!

He is speaking truth here. He has also promised us real change starting next year, implying that so far has been a warmup.
Of course he did! That is why he has been in a 3 hour meeting this morning with his political and economic advisors. I think Beck exposed, for all the world to see, the faces of those who are what Nixon called the silent majority. We are sick of the lies, deceit, hubris, dishonesty, and vainity of the ruling class, and they are about to get a dose of medicine crammed down their throat in about 2 months. Give us common, decent, honorable people over the Harvard pricks and this country will rise to its past greatness. Keep the elites and we will continue the downward vortex right into the sewer which they provide.

Obama may be technically an American, but I found it bizarre when he speaks of “our” history. He sure seems to hate everything about America and doesn’t seem to even know what we are about. He is alien in his ways and thoughts.
It may be “non-political,” but everything involving God, the military, Palin, Beck etc is political- if only in the eyes of liberals.
This psychopath will go rabid if he thinks he is really losing his power base. Make no mistake about it, he is delusional.
Obama didn’t look so healthy in that interview. I think he will blow apart and reign down like confetti on a parade when the hypothetical Republican takeover becomes a reality.
