I found full coverage on Beck’s website, and just watched about half of it. It only took me 12 hours to find out what really happened today.
I got better knowledge of the crowd size today from the BBC photographer at the top of the Washington Monument than anyone in the US media. The BBC photo was taken early; many more came after.

Amazing isn’t it. We always have to DIG for the truth.
I had Fox News on all during the time I was working on the slideshow and kept seeing bits and pieces of the rally.
Sorry no, watched on C-SPIN though. Didn’t care for the “Sermon on the Steps”. Would have left. Too much crying from the Chalkboard Commander.
That said I am very very impressed at the turnout. No major rag reporting
the turn out, The Examiner says 300-500K, another says 5-1millon. Having been to the 9/12, we had more.
Yup, he sure does.
Hes never been anything but a straight shooter and courteous to boot.
Hear, hear.
I count Las Vegas Ron as a good FRiend.
Stumptalker, perhaps you should post on a different forum. Check out DU for starters.
If MLK were alive today, he would have been on that stage today with Glenn and Sarah, arms high in the air, to celebrate what he knows is right. I’m watching this now and Sarah is out there.....
And I’ve posted this numerous times before and it deserves to be repeated. Martin Luther King was as much a conservative as many would ever want to admit. And if alive, would take Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton and brow beat the 2 of them for what is going on today....
Thanks.
Oh, potlatch! I think this is the most beautiful graphic you’ve ever put together!
I was hoping you would grace us with your creative presence. ;o)
Thank you so much for all of your hard work. You’ve captured the essence of today’s rally! I bet it was tough to choose the pictures because there were so many good pictures and stories told. It was very inspirational, to say the very least.
Thank you, once again...and it’s so good to see you!
Nicely said!

I disagree. I attended both, and believe that the Mall attendance today was much greater. It is so hard to comprehend the vastness of the area covered by people today just by looking at photographs or even what a video camera can show.

Aso consider the absence of great big signs and posters that tend to fill up space.
And thousands of people who were under the trees, and don’t show up on any photos.
I doubt it.
That’s a great way not to get bored with speeches!
Happy kids.
That does look like fun. Reminds me of my own tree climbing days.
If LR Ron is such a champ why did he attack me on 720?
I don't know exactly who he is, but he appears to be an American Indian, wearing a traditional ceremonial shirt. The material is probably a small red print pattern, not pink.
He very likely is also a veteran.
