After her sterling public image took on some tarnish from her recent vacation to Spain, the White House announced that first lady Michelle Obama will appear with Laura Bush for Sept. 11 observances in Pennsylvania. The deft public relations move by the administration will place the two popular first ladies side-by-side for the first time since the 2008 inauguration. (Snip) An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll after the Spain trip found just 50 percent of Americans had a positive opinion of the first lady, down 14 percent from the same poll in April.

The Globe is really after Obozo. Check THIS out:
Although known as a tabloid rag, the Globe DOES get some pretty good scoops at times....and just think; it’s seen by MILLIONS in checkout lines across the coutry!!

I’m not goig to watch. Laura will be too gracious to MOOCHelle for me. Hugs, etc. GAG.
Look .. from all the available information and
articles I’ve read, it’s my very strong belief that
Laura Bush was always going to be at the Shanksville
event for the September 11th remembrance .. she’s
very tied emotionally to that day and to those who
suffered so much. And she is a gracious lady.
With MO’s despicably arrogant public image from
the Spain trip, among every other stupid and
flamboyant thing she’s (and he) have done, I
strongly believe the WH pushed MO INTO this
event with Mrs. Bush, to help restore her tarnished
reputation to the public.
And .. you think Laura Bush should tell the WH:
no, I’d prefer you didn’t come ??
C’mon.
It WON’T help MO. In fact, the contrast will just
be a reminder to Americans of how classless she is.
The Bushes are always showing up to help the image of democrats when they are down. Daddy Bush did it for Clinton several times.
How can that fat assed ugly that couldn’t coordinate her clothing with outside help have anything called luster?
Will they be celebrating the moslem triumph symbolized by the crescent-shaped memorial at the site of the moslem masssacre of Flight 93?.
maybe she can polish her tiara if she needs more luster
I believe so.
Great! Miss Trailer trash is hoping that her presence alongside a lady of grace will be enough to redeem her in the eyes of the “let them eat cake” little people. It ain’t happenin’ sister.
Two popular first ladies? I know of only one popular one, and it isn’t the wookie.
Weird......
Actually, LUV, I like dandelions a lot better. :)
It will have the opposite effect.
If the WH thinks this is good PR for Michelle, they are sadly mistaken. Next to a real lady, next to real class, next to grace and poise, she will look awful.
Besides which, who in this country thinks Michelle cares about what happened on 9/11? The people who like her don't care either. The people who remember know she doesn't care. Everyone knows.
Dumb move, WH. Really dumb.
LOL! Funniest post I've read in a long time.
(Please don't tell me you were serious??? You weren't really, were you? Nahhhh.....)
The National Park Foundation, official charity of Americas national parks, announced today that First Lady Michelle Obama will join Mrs. Laura W. Bush as an additional keynote speaker at the September 11, 2010 Meaning, Michelle Obama inserts herself with an already planned Laura Bush keynoted event to save her husband's embarrassing events recently.

I prefer to look at this in a good way. Maybe Laura Bush is going there to force Moochelle to show up at all. It would look very bad prior to an election if lady moocher blew this show off while a real first lady came to pay respect.
I can't believe that they actually call this what it is---a PR move. How insulting to the 9/11 families!
It would be great if MO could learn a thing or two from Lady Laura....but I am not sure she can. Laura will shine, as always.
