WASHINGTON – Conservative pundit Ann Coulter intensified her attacks on WND last night on Fox News Channel's "Red Eye" show, accusing those at the largest independent news site who dropped her from the "Taking America Back National Conference" in Miami of being "fake Christians."
Coulter claimed she was never actually booked for the event, repeated her resentment over publishing her e-mail explanations to WND Editor Joseph Farah for appearing at GOProud's Homocon event and lashed out at WND for "pushing the birther thing," which she said is not supported by any conservatives.
"These are fake Christians trying to get publicity," said Coulter.
Previously, Coulter called Farah a "publicity whore" and a "swine" for WND's decision to drop her upon learning of her plan to speak to the homosexual Republican group.
In response, Farah issued the following statement: "Coulter called me a 'publicity whore' for my decision. But look who is on television talking about this – throwing mud, name-calling, smearing not only me but my entire staff. I will not engage in the kind of ad hominem attacks that have made Coulter so famous and that are making her even more of a media darling in this age of reckless anger and character assassination for the sake of entertainment. Every day, since we made this decision at WND, I thank God for giving me the clarity of mind and discernment to make the right choice."

So you expected Ann to thank you and immediately use that information in a book? She probably gets hundreds of such emails every day. Most are probably from kooks seeking to discredit her.
Where BO was born is irrelevant. Not because I think he is a citizen but because nobody in power is going to do anything to challenge him on this point.
There are 50+ impeachable offenses that he has committed since taking office. The time and effort would be better spent working on those angles.
WND follows the money and creates more nonsense than news. Farah’s selling of fedex packages to send notifications to Congress is an example. The secret Iraqi WMD ships circling the planet are another.
Last I looked seemed to me that Ann Coulter represented herself. Wondering how anything she says is going to effect those upcoming elections. I can just see people in the polling booth going over Ann Coulter quotes to decide who, or what to vote for. I don’t think so. And who in the Hell is World Net Daily!? They lost any credibility long ago.I guess the point the poster was trying to make is that any clash between conservatives allows the MSM to say "see, we were right about them".
But basically you are right. Coulter isn't running for office and neither is Farah. As far as I know, neither is doing much of a Palin-type endorsement thing, going around the country endorsing candidates, and for obvious reasons.
Although this will give liberals a good chuckle (which I hate!) it shouldn't affect the election.
The only thing that's going to affect the election is the Republicans themselves. It should be in the bag for them, as long as they don't get too squeamish and give it away with a bunch of last-minute "accomodations".
No voter I know consults Coulter or Farah on how to vote.
Sorry, but battle lines are drawn and the gays drew them. We're this close to criminalizing the words "homosexuality is a sin".
I was a theater major in college and I used to do a lot of community theater work. I know lots of gays. I have a "live and let live policy" insofar as I do not care if they want to bugger themselves silly. It's no skin off my nose. But they cannot leave it at live and let live. They will never be satisfied until every aspect of society not only tolerates them-they must accept and celebrate them. And our children must be indoctrinated to accept them and perhaps join them.
we don't need a group that is "proud" of being gay in the GOP. Like all gays, GOProud is another bunch of self-loathing narcissists who want to render a group useless by infiltrating it from within.
Also, Ann Coulter is a loose cannon who openly advocated that Obama be elected over McCain.

Not saying Ann is Jesus. Saying Christians are supposed to go out into the world with their message. Of course Ann isn’t an evangelist, she’s an entertainer.
Farah dealt with that “never booked” claim in a recent article. He says they had worked the agreement through a third party, had made installment payments, but heard about Homocon just before making the last payment. That means there’s a paper trail. Coulter’s only defense appears to be to hide in some technicality that divides “almost-paid-for booking” from a “finalized booking.” That’s parsing it too fine. She looks like she could have some trouble with this in terms of her own credibility. Which is precisely why they should kiss & make up before they give the left too big of a gift.
I gotta go with Farah on this one!

I disagree with this summation of true Christianity. Disapproving of their lifestyle and fighting to keep their militant actions from overtaking our society does not inherently translate into hatred of the individual. I think there are many unregenerated Christians out there but I wouldn’t be too hasty to put Farah in that category.

Yes, for some patriotism only makes sense if you won't have to go through any hard times engaging in it.
Since I don't trust Farah at all, it would not be hard for me to believe that he never intended to actually have Ann appear. He could use her name to promote it until he had to make the final payment. All he had to do was come up with some reason to have a public quarrel with her, and voila’, he can avoid the final payment while claiming the moral high ground as well as gaining publicity for his birtherpalooza.
His motives are not to be trusted.

The current option of alienating them and driving votes away hasn’t worked so well.
Meanwhile the vast majority of Americans don't know this is even happening, have never heard of Farah, WND, HOMOCON, or Ann Coulter.
And they will go their graves having never heard of any of this.
