Yes and if any group should NOT be allowed to vote it is Group $$. You know, the group who does not pay taxes, does not work, or even plan to work, and are fully on the government dole. For generations.

Perhaps what Pissant is referring to with the constant bring up of the Founder’s not allowing women to vote was the fear on the part of the Founders that women would vote for any political opportunist who offered them the promise of help with rearing their children.
I suspect the Founders could not have imagined an America where so many “citizens” are egregiously eager to vote in anyone who will promise them something they didn’t earn. Worst of all, those present day voters expect and get things totally beyond any rational justification for the Republic to give to any voter.
“It is not yours to give” is as true today as before t Constitutional Convention.
Perhaps Pissant should consider championing a poll test for all voters. Know Issues or NO VOTE!
Again, the Founders could not have imagined an electorate so seriously far from the Jeffersonian hope of an informed electorate being the only safe repository of power.
One can even make the argument that today’s welfare class is, from the perspective of the Founders, a hyper feminized population of the treasonous - and, that this class now exhibits/personifies the threats to the Republic that they feared women might become.
And perhaps the both of you are just full of crap.
