Turkey To Give Hizbullah Weapons
The Jerusalem Post ^ | 12 Aug 2010 | JPost

Turkey and Iran are rumored to be helping Hizbullah obtain new weapons, Italian daily Corriere Della Sera reported on Wednesday evening.

Turkish intelligence chief Hakan Fidan reportedly met with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Taeb to discuss relations between the two countries.

Sources told Corriere Della Sera that Turkey will "send sophisticated weapons, rockets and guns to Syria, that will end up in Lebanon," where, the Iranian Army will ensure the weapons are transferred to Hizbullah.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards "will facilitate the transition, ensure safety, watch loads on the routes, and provide support to the border," the report said.

The Iranians reportedly want to build a weapons network similar to that in the Sudan, and hopes to help Hamas, as well.

The Italian newspaper reported that Western intelligence sources "view the Turkish-Iranian plot with concern, as they are obvious risks to safety."

"The [intelligence] services in Ankara are among the best in the region," sources told Corriere Della Sera. "They have great knowledge of the Middle East, and know how to move on the routes of illegal trafficking."

Wouldn't be surprising. They'll probably use Ramadan as cover, daring Israel to stop the shipments their "holy month." That way, any attack would be portrayed as an attack on islam itself.

The neoturks have abandoned he quest to be European and have determined that being an Iranian hegemon is the best course.

This alliance is a new ball game. The game Obama is playing is already over..... he lost.

Didn’t a politician stop the 100 million we were sending to Lebanon?

Good move.

We have a Nato member doing open national terror-support. It’s also a Nato member stuffed to the gills with US nuclear weapons at some of their bases, if I’m not mistaken.

Time to get these subhumans out of the alliance. And for the US to choose between being a sharia pusher or not.

They have abandoned Nato. Turkey has proved the weakness and total incompetence of the Obama Administration.

The Turkish turnabout is the most important news of the year. It signals the unequivocally obama failure and downfall

Actally our problem is that the Greater Middle East project of the Bush administration has gone very wrong.

President Bush II thought that the arabs would buy into secular democracy if Turkey’s government became mildly muslim. That was not received well by the secular elite in Turkey, so the state department used a religious dissident (Fethullah Gulen) who was wanted in Turkey at the time. This dissident and his followers (who are now the government in Turkey thanks us state dept) are what we’re dealing with today.

The US government must cease supporting these islamofascists so that they do not win the next election. Once they’re out of office all will be back to normal.

Turks are Muslim and are behaving exactly as their chief rapist mohamed would have them behave.

We should immediately cease all payments and shipments to the rogue illegal parastate called “Turkey”.
