KABUL, Afghanistan – One gave up a lucrative practice to give free dental care to children ... Others had devoted whole decades of their lives to helping the Afghan people through war and deprivation.
The years of service ended in a hail of bullets in a remote valley of a land that members of the medical team had learned to love.
The bodies of the 10 slain volunteers - six Americans, two Afghans, a German and a Briton - were flown Sunday back to Kabul ... friends and family bitterly rejected Taliban claims the group had tried to convert Afghans to Christianity.
[snip] "We are heartbroken by the loss of these heroic, generous people," U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said in Washington. She condemned the Taliban for the deaths and what she called a "transparent attempt to justify the unjustifiable by making false accusations about their activities."
The group had spent two weeks treating villagers in a remote valley in northern Afghanistan for eye diseases and other ailments before being ambushed by extremists on their way back to Kabul.

Team leader Tom Little, an optometrist from Delmar, New York, had been working in Afghanistan for more than 30 years. He and his wife, Libby, reared three daughters in Kabul, sticking it out through the Soviet invasion of the 1980s, and the vicious civil war of the 1990s, when Afghan warlords rained rockets on the city.
[Spokesman] Nedam said the medical group had never talked of religion with Afghans.
"Their mission was humanitarian, and they went there to help people," said Nedam...
"He [Dr. Tom Little] was part and parcel of that culture," said David Evans of the Loudonville Community Church, New York, who had worked with him to deliver aid.

Maybe they should have donated their time in West Virginia, or Louisiana, or many other places where help is needed right here in the USA.

And trust us when we tell you that the casualties of your revolution will pale compared to those you will suffer should we be forced to invoke Clause 3!
2. Please pay SPECIAL attention to the word “domestic” in number 1.

The MINUTE we become privy to firm, corroborated intelligence that you have plans to harm the United States or one of our recognized allies — or, worst case — DO, in fact carry out such an operation, the United States and any such allies who wish to assist will come to you and request that you cease and desist. If you refuse to do so, we will TURN MOST OF YOUR LAND INTO A SMOKING RUIN. If you’ve never seen RUBBLE BOUNCE, it’s quite a sight. Just as the Japanese saw that in 1945, we saw a good bit of that on 9/11 – and will never forget it. The Japanese never forgot it – and neither will those of you who survive! And also remember that, since we have pulled our guys out of other nations and closed those bases – horribly costly activities with which we are no longer burdened — we have devoted those diverted resources to new, more effective human intelligence gathering methods using many of YOUR citizens as paid snitches (no more stupid Church Amendment!) so we WILL KNOW when you’re up to no good. And don’t forget that those freed up resources will allow development of more devastating weapons should we need them. Trust us when we tell you that they’re really cool.
4. And speaking of “cool,” once those smoking ruins have sufficiently cooled – and the radiation levels have fallen — we will put boots on the ground, clear any remaining resistance and seize your former property for the benefit of those who participated in the neutralization of the threat you posed. Casualties among our troops should be very limited because, as we think you have seen, the weapons possessed by the United States will leave very few to resist. REREAD 4 AND THINK 51st STATE!

If we say, “The Muslims”, speaking in general how are we different than the murderers who say “The Christians”. It is better to say “Certain Muslims”, or “those Muslims”. Prejudice generates hatred. “Those Muslims who slaughtered those innocent people committed a grave atrocity. My neighbors who are Muslims are righteous people who are likewise appalled and offended.”

Something the tallyban doesn’t seem to have as their creed. So just visualize a society intent on furthering the tenets of Islam at the expense of nations, peoples, governments, and world religious and secular history. Humanitarian is a word not contained in the Islamic dictionary, IMHO!
Not a pretty visualization death and destruction come to mind beginning with the many many documented terror attacks on peoples world wide in this and the last century, by what can only be called the fruits of Islam. All puns intended.

Therefore, the Dr’s. were of no useful purpose and using the excuse of proselytizing to murder them justified their deaths to the true adherents of islam and members of the tollybahn.
