You've Got to Get this Book! ("We've Been Had" by James Keena)
Amazon.com ^ | James Keena

Posted on 08/07/2010 9:08:18 AM PDT by FrdmLvr

Editorial Reviews Review James Keena has done a superb job of reconstructing Barack Obama's carefully obscured past and documenting his network of radical connections. The result is an unsettling, detailed portrait of the first anti-American President. --Scott Sweet, Author of To Set the Record Straight: How Swift Boat Veterans, POWs and the New Media Defeated John Kerry

This book will awaken those outside of the 20 percent far-left demographic who still somehow believe the narrative that Barack Obama is a post-partisan, post-racial, all-American politician. James leaves hardly a stone unturned exposing the true identity of the man behind the lofty rhetoric. Unfortunately, it's true: We've Been Had. --Monte Kuligowski, attorney and author of Does the Declaration of Independence Pass the Lemon Test?

If a man can be judged by the company he keeps, then Barack Obama should frighten the whole nation with his associations and his own Marxist background, and all concisely documented by James Keena. With each chapter, the portrait Keena paints of Obama looks less like Fairey's 'Hope' and more like Munch's 'Scream.' Truly, We've Been Had. --Julian Dunraven, J.D., M.P.A. Legal & Business Editor of People's Press Collective Product Description We've Been Had is a wake up call for the American middle class. It connects the dots between Obama's radical history, his extremist relationships, and the revolutionary changes occuring today. The policies of Obama and the other extremists in Washington will decimate the middle class with unsustainable debt, crushing taxes, economic stagnation, and government intrusion into private affairs. Growing awarness of his radicalism and duplicity has ignited the TEA party movement and anexplosion of middle class activism. This book is not only fuel for the fire, it fully explains why the limited-government movement must succeed.

“Anyone who believed Obama was a good choice for an American President was either willfully ignorant, brain dead, or a Marxist.”

.
Or so morally turpid that they thought that it would be ok if they got something for nothing at the expense of the country.

” have to laugh when authors and commentators base their anti-Obama works on the notion that we were fooled”

.
“ Not everyone can see the reality behind the DNC Media’s agitprop.”

.
Unfortunately, that is very true.

We have millions of voters that simply are not intelligent enough to be doing things as important as voting.

Under the framer’s original intent, they would not have been likely to be voting, since only land owners were voting. Now the fate of the world is in the hands of easily swayed simpletons.

I am sorry, but any social liberal who thinks they believe in small government is destined to go through life pulling on doors marked push.

You should have scrolled down just a wee bit further, and looked for ALL this guy's reviews. I did, and here's what's at the bottom of the page.

6 of 8 people found the following review helpful: 2.0 out of 5 stars I'm a communist, December 16, 2005 After years on FreeRepublic I've been bounced. Sorta like Russia in the 1930's---I'm a non-person.

Why?

Because I suggested the American Catholic Bishops had erred when allowing extremist fundamendaltist Protestant pressure groups sway their opinion.

I wanted Catholic Bishops to work with Catholic groups. Silly me.

Unless you hew to the Religous Right viewpoint---Southern Protestantism---you will be erased.

Make a point they dislike---no debate---you're gone.

Kinda like their vision for America.

IATZ!

Cheers!

Thanks for the ping and the recommendation. A lot of people were fooled into thinking Obama is the Messiah. Hopefully, this book will enlighten some of them.

Nothing is by chance...we are being judged as a nation. Who will we turn to during this time? That is the question.

I heard the author interviewed on the Thayrone X show on WAAM 1600 AM in Ann Arbor yesterday. The following is a link to the interview: Clip 5 || Clip 6 .

I have been reading the book. Wow! I thought I knew who Obama is and what is happening in the country. My eyes have been opened extremely wide. This book is a game changer. Why aren’t people talking about this?

WE'VE BEEN HAD is so informative and well organized that in another time it might be a textbook. Having read extensively about Obama I can attest to its veracity.

My question is why haven't I heard any promotion for it?

Glen Beck who recommends more titles than Oprah, why hasn't he recommended it? I knew There would be a thread on Keena's book. I recommend it; every one should read it.

http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2010/08/weve_been_had_an_excellent_rea.html

... Keena’s insights are keen and dot-connecting. Here are some examples:

From Obama’s own Dreams from My Father: “Issues, action, power, self-interest. I liked these concepts. They bespoke a certain hardheadedness, a worldly lack of sentiment...” I’ve thought Obama is strangely emotionless, coldly and relentlessly pushing his Big Government agenda, so it is oddly validating to find that the president speaks of himself in similar terms. (p. 39)

Dr. John C. Drew, a lapsed Marxist who knew Obama in 1980, claimed that Obama was enough of a Marxist then to praise the Soviet Union, the land of gulags and “people’s democracy.” (p. 94)

Citing Jerome Corsi’s book The Obama Nation, Keena reports Obama’s perhaps illegal meddling in Kenyan politics in which he (apparently with the financial support of the American taxpayer via his position as a U.S. Senator) actively worked on behalf of a rather unsavory character who had communist sympathies and at least a superficial connection with an al Qaeda ally. (pp. 129-30)

The details of Obama’s close working relationship with Antoin Rezko (he of the 16 felony convictions) are fleshed out in Chapter 7

Chapter 8-Meet ACORN-is even more illuminating. Many of us have a sense of how corrupt ACORN had become, but Keen does a superb job of placing ACORN in the historical context of a decades-long radical strategy to subvert and collapse our political system. This chapter alone is worth the price of the book.

Thanks. Rarely does a book excite me like We’ve Been Had. He’s filled in my blanks and organized my thoughts.

It’s like an intern’s red book, you shouldn’t go without it.
