Rescheduled, not cancelled: Breitbart to get RNC invite
The Republican National Committee has cancelled a fundraiser with conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart, who is under fire for promoting an edited video that falsely portrays former Agriculture Department employee Shirley Sherrod as having boasted about discriminating against a white farmer looking for her assistance.
Breitbart was scheduled to appear with RNC Chairman Michael Steele at a reception later this month in Beverly Hills.
I’ll second the “cowards” comment.
... and his original article pointed out that she had changed. His contention was that the reaction of the NAACP crowd during the unrepenetent portion of the speech was what was racist.
Dumb move of teh week! RNC needs Breitbart far more than Breitbart needs the RNC.
Hmmmn - now that I think of it, I don’t need RNC either.

But there is a viable third party now, a true grassroots party, and THAT is the group of patriots that Breitbart represents.

The mistake is buying into the idea that the RNC is the party. They are not. WE are the party, and we shall demonstrate it at primary elections by supporting the Tea Party candidates. If there is no Tea Party candidate, and the incumbent is a RINO, then support any primary challenger who looks good.
Send no money to the RNC, only to individual candidates. If the RNC has no money to distribute for campaigns, then it becomes unimportant.
This is seriously getting spooky, our self-styled "betters" just decide something inconvenient to their agenda wasn't said or done, the media then fall in line by tailoring their reports accordingly, and a large percentage of the people go right along with it.
We're further down the road to serfdom than is commonly supposed, even on FR, if this sort of bald-faced, brazen propaganda verging on mind control is allowed to stand.
Andrew will recover. I’m not sure that the RNC will.
