Mr. RANGEL introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Armed Services.
A BILL
To require all persons in the United States between the ages of 18 and 42 to perform national service, either as a member of the uniformed services or in civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, and for other purposes.

How convenient - crash the economy so there are no jobs - then create this nightmare - how many unsuspecting unemployed young people are gonna jump on this bandwagon?
I can’t wait to rub this in the nose of an acquaintance who told me he votes democrat because he doesn’t want his son to be drafted and have to go to war.

It’s just grandstanding. They can’t have a good old fashioned draft where the people with “higher priorities” are excused, so it’ll never pass.
This isn’t a traditional ‘draft’. This administration has no intention of supplementing our military. This is an alternate force at the beck and call of the Tyrant. It is a reason to give his minions weapons and go out and ‘control’ traditional mainstream patriotic Americans that “don’t toe the line”.........................

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.
