Former USDA official Shirley Sherrod, who claims she was falsely smeared as a racist while she herself falsely smears Republicans and Fox News as racists, said this morning that she would like to see BigGovernment.com, the website that made her famous, shut down for the good of the country.
CNN's American Morning reported on Sherrod's demand:
She said if Breitbart's site were shut down, "That would be a great thing, because I don't see how that advances us in this country ... at a time when we should be trying to look at how we can make space for all of us in this country, so that we can all live and work together, he's doing more to divide us."
Sherrod also told CNN she is considering suing Andrew Breitbart, the owner of Big Government:
"I really think I should. You know, I don't know a lot about the legal profession, but that's one person I'd like to get back at. Because he came at me. You know, he didn't go after the NAACP. He came at me."
Yesterday, in an interview with the Democrat front group Media Matters, Sherrod smeared Fox News as wanting to take blacks back to the Jim Crow era:
... they would love to take us back to where we were many years ago. Back to where black people were looking down, not looking white folks in the face, not being able to compete for a job out there and not be a whole person."
In the same speech given in March to the NAACP that initially got Sherrod fired by the Obama administration, Sherrod smeared Republicans as racists for opposing Barack Obama's government takeover of healthcare:
"Some of the racism we thought was buried, didn't it surface? Now we endured eight years of the Bushes, and we didn't do the stuff these Republicans are doing because you have a black president."
Sherrod is being annointed as a saint by the media for her claim to have overcome her own racism. She is even being compared to Nelson Mandela. Yet to this day she speaks in starkly racist terms of "my people" and "his own kind" while flinging the race card as skillfully as Jesse Jackson at her perceived political opponents.
She also has revealed a leftist totalitarian streak. It's no wonder the communists from ANSWER and Code Pink were out supporting her yesterday:

If I have to read one more time, in one more place that Breitbart "heavily edited" what he broadcast ...AAARRRRGGH!! An excerpt is not an edit!! They say it as though he was cutting this bit and pasting that bit of video!!

She didn't help him, as so many keep claiming, she directed him elsewhere. And "to one of his own" is as racist as 0bama's "typical white person" reference to grandma. These two are racists by their own mouths, not by any newsie broadcasting it for us.

Just heard Rush play that, it was 'rural' -- she swallows the second syllable, but it's there. Tremendously condescending, not just to 0bama (the idea that he don't know how it is down heah in the South) and any hard-working, conscientious, lover of America that isn't included in her "We", totally offensive.

I think it was also intended to set him up which is why Sherrod said that the White House said this is going to be on Glenn Beck.

That part was odd, but maybe they just assumed Beck would cover it or maybe Beck was going to cover it and changed his mind because he got some inside info.

As for the Sarah Spitz person, Limbaugh is reporting now on radio that Spitz is apologizing all over the place for her comments — too late — I, and probably many others, wrote her scathing e-mails yesterday at her commie radio station KCRW, Santa Monica City College, in the Peoples’ Republic of Santa Monica.

You'd have to read the post I was referencing to understand. It didn't refer to redemption of farms but rather Ms. Sherrod's story of a personal struggle against prejudice against whites (I believe he said her father had actually been lynched by whites). So she was confronting her own prejudices vs. "doing the right thing" and is still dealing with it.
Anyway, that's all out the window now (with her current crusade).
