They most likely did rush to judgment. But since under the exact same situation a white person would have been drawn, quartered, and fed to the wolves then Sherrod really has little to complain about.

Oy Vey! Krauthammer and I agree! He is correct and so am I. Conservatism is not served by witch hunts. This woman is no less guilty of racism than any of us...

I have distrusted Beck for a while, with his phoney tears and melodramatics. I saw today’s show and was appalled. It almost seemed like I was watching Ted Baxter.

It seems everyone did rush to judgment - just like they do when the races issues are reversed. I'm pleased we're big enough to admit to being a tad thin-skinned and jumping to conclusions. Let's hope next time the shoe's on the other foot, they do the same for us...

Short of a Jeremiah Wright revival, the racist part of the story was Sherrod’s “telling of it” and the black audience laughing along with her at ‘whitey’ first getting second-class treatment.

*That* is racist and they loved it and she loved telling them that she enjoyed HER POWER OVER the poor white farmer.

Ok here the part of this I find hasn't been mentioned.

She was fired by Obama and Vilsack without them doing any basic fact checking as to her guilt or innocence.

That again points up the incompetence of this administration.

Wow, when will you “play nice” conservatives learn? Hussein and his lackeys never ever ever ever EVER ever recind or go back....they destroy and conquer.

Now, if the right caves on this, it’ll be a sign of weakness. Did the left apologize for lynching Trent Lott? Rush Limbaugh? Any other person who is NOT a racist whom they label??? EVER????

Wake up.

Here's the lead-in to her story, to give the context...

"When I made the commitment, years ago, I didn't know how...I prayed about it that night...asking God to show me what could do. The path wasn't laid out that night...I just made the decision...and over the years things just happen.

And young people, I just want you to know...When you're true to what God wants you to do, the path just opens up..{all right} ...things just come to you...{applause}...God is good, I can tell you that {Amen}...

When I was making that commitment, I was making it to black people, and to black people only. But you know God will show you things and He'll put things in your path so that you realize that the struggle is really about poor people {alright, alright}..."
I used "all right" and "alright" to differentiate the ways they were expressed.

She basically slammed the idea of it being all about race.

I can't imagine I have a unique perspective.

First, she wasn't fired because she was a racist, or said something racist. She was fired because she became a political liability to Hussein.

Second, only the NAACP is responsible for the conclusions they jump to. It's tough to do the right thing when your worry is how things look, not how they are.

Third, I've heard it said she may have committed a crime. I would think the SoL is way past.

Fourth, it wasn't the idea she expressed that bothers me...it's the mindset she reveals.

Someone truly committed to civil rights wouldn't be talking about "his own kind." They wouldn't be thinking in terms of "his own kind."

They would know if racism is to end, it needs to start with me.

Now obvious to everyone, that's not what they are about. This is potentially very damaging to the left.

Those with evil in their hearts see evil all around - those who see life through the racist filter see racism wherever they look......

The full video does not incriminate Sherrod. The full video incriminates the racists within the NAACP, who laughed as Sherrod’s earlier racist behavior.
