"The Justice Department originally brought the case against four armed men who witnesses say derided voters with catcalls of "white devil" and "cracker" and told voters they should prepare to be "ruled by the black man." ..."

One poll watcher called police after he reportedly saw one of the men brandishing a nightstick to threaten voters.

As I walked up, they closed ranks, next to each other,” the witness told Fox News at the time. “So I walked directly in between them, went inside and found the poll watchers. They said they’d been here for about an hour. And they told us not to come outside because a black man is going to win this election no matter what.”

He said the man with a nightstick told him, “’We’re tired of white supremacy,’ and he starts tapping the nightstick in his hand. At which point I said, ‘OK, we’re not going to get in a fistfight right here,’ and I called the police.”...”

Because they are leftists that believe in the “zero sum” paradigm,

increasing “black liberty” inherently involves decreasing others’ liberty. Preferably FIRST.

The Real Story Behind Rev. Wright's Controversial Black Liberation Theology Doctrine
Monday , May 5, 2008
FoxNews/Hannity's America
[special Friday night edition--original airdate May 2, 2008]

(some key excerpts)

["(Jose) Diaz-Balart is the son of Rafael Diaz-Balart y Guitierrez (a former Cuban politician). He has three bothers, Rafael Diaz-Balart (a banker), Mario Diaz-Balart (a US Congressman) and Lincoln Diaz-Balart (also a US Congressman). His aunt, Mirta Diaz-Balart, was Fidel Castro's first wife."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jose_Diaz-Balart]

JOSE DIAZ-BALART, TELEMUNDO NETWORK: "Liberation theology in Nicaragua in the mid-1980's was a pro-Sandinista, pro-Marxist, anti-U.S., anti-Catholic Church movement. That's it. No ifs, ands, or buts. His church apparently supported, in the mid-'80s in Nicaragua, groups that supported the Sandinista dictatorships and that were opposed to the Contras whose reason for being was calling for elections. That's all I know. I was there.

I saw the churches in Nicaragua that he spoke of, and the churches were churches that talked about the need for violent revolution and I remember clearly one of the major churches in Managua where the Jesus Christ on the altar was not Jesus Christ, he was a Sandinista soldier, and the priests talked about the corruption of the West, talked about the need for revolution everywhere, and talked about 'the evil empire' which was the United States of America."

REV. BOB SCHENCK, NATIONAL CLERGY COUNCIL: "it's based in Marxism. At the core of his [Wright's] theology is really an anti-Christian understanding of God, and as part of a long history of individuals who actually advocate using violence in overthrowing those they perceive to be oppressing them, even acts of murder have been defended by followers of liberation theology. That's very, very dangerous."

SCHENCK: "I was actually the only person escorted to Dr. Wright. He asked to see me, and I simply welcomed him to Washington, and then I said Dr. Wright, I want to bring you a warning: your embrace of Marxist liberation theology. It is contrary to the Gospel, and you need, sir, to abandon it. And at that he dropped the handshake and made it clear that he was not in the mood to dialogue on that point."

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate
Kathy Shaidle, FrontPageMag.com
Monday, April 07, 2008

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obama’s pastor in a heated interview about his Church’s teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...

Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004

In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.

The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

From Investor's Business Daily (IBD), August 27, 2008:

"Ayers, now a tenured distinguished professor of education at UIC, works to educate teachers in socialist revolutionary ideology, urging that it be passed on to impressionable students.

One of Ayer's descriptions for a course called 'Improving Learning Environments' says prospective K-12 teachers need to 'be aware of the social and moral universe we inhabit and ... be a teacher capable of hope and struggle, outrage and action, teaching for social justice and liberation.

The Annenberg papers are quite extensive — 132 boxes containing 947 file folders with 70 linear feet of material. They undoubtedly contain more surprises regarding Obama's relationship with Ayers, one of many relationships Obama has sought to hide.'..."

These black panthers and their group are like roaches coming out at night and saying what they want and then go back and hide they did that before now they have a Hitler in the white house so they can come out during the day and horas all including little grannies when they go out to vote..

It is time this country gets back to normal and send these trouble makers to Africa..Let them see what they can do there..I would say if they said about the people and did what they do here they would be hung from the nearest tree all of them by the blacks there..If it is so tough here then go back to your native land and see if they great you while you lay on your ass and complain..If it weren't for the whites and educated blacks here all of you would be starved to death..

I should say all of the ignorant ones like these fools..The great black people that made something of themselves should be honored and not taken down with these fools..

Tupac Shakur: Liberation Theologian for Our Times

"ASSATA (aka Joanne Chesimard)" is a pro-communist revolution propaganda film on the story of Joanne Chesimard. She (Assata Shakur/Joanne Chesimard) is the godmother of late rapper Tupac Shakur (see Section 5 of my FR home page: "the Brinks Robbery and Triple Murder"). Tupac's stepfather (Joanne's brother) was deeply involved in that murder-robbery in which two police officers and one Brinks security guard were gunned down in cold blood.

The following is a description of the film from its pro-communist/"Black Liberation" producers

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

ASSATA (aka Joanne Chesimard)

Perhaps the most wanted woman in the history of the United States.

Assata Shakur/Joanne Chesimard, was questionably arrested and sentenced for killing a cop in the infamous 1973 New Jersey Turnpike shootup of a car carrying Shakur, and two other Black Panthers, one of whom was also killed. Assata received three bullets in the attack. Sentenced to Life, she escaped in 1979 from maximum security prison in NJ to eventually emerge in Cuba under Fidel Castro’s protection as a political exile. Assata’s [Joanne Chesimard] writings and presence in Cuba have brought her a huge following as an icon, a heroine – the Che Guevera of Black Liberation – a freedom fighter to thousands of young peoples throughout the world. The State of New Jersey still holds a million dollar bounty on her head–wanted dead or alive!

Black liberation theology would be more aptly named “Vengeance Theology”.

It starts with the false premise that Jesus was a victim, then they associate themselves with Jesus through victim hood. From there its a short hop to seeking retribution and collective salvation through punishment of the perceived oppressors.

I would include Farrakhan's so-called "Nation of Islam" in the Black Liberation Theology camp. That is another entirely bogus 'religion' concocted for the same reasons.

Re: Millions More Movement rally, Oct 15, 2005:

"Mao Tse Tung, throughout his long march to conquer China, had a billion people whose lives he had to transform. Many of them were victims of opium, drugs and prostitution, like we are. But Mao Tse Tung went to the cultural community and they accepted his idea. Then, through song, dance, poetry, drama, documentaries, movies and books, the idea of Mao Tse Tung became the idea of a billion people. China became a world power on the base of culture and the artistic community. If we had a Ministry of Art and Culture in every city, [we'd] create this movement [in the U.S.], we could say to our young people, “What is the idea of the Time and are you reflecting that idea in your songs, dance and music?

We need a Ministry of Trade and Commerce. Do you think that a Millions More Movement should not be involved in the development of Africa, the Caribbean and Central America? ... we need a Ministry of Trade and Commerce that can link the struggle here with Africa and the Caribbean, Central and South America.

Excerpt from The American Thinker...

Article: Obama, Black Liberation Theology, and Karl Marx
May 28, 2008

Just one nugget from the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, "Instruction on Certain Aspects of the ‘Theology of Liberation': "...it would be illusory and dangerous to ignore the intimate bond which radically unites them liberation theologies), and to accept elements of the Marxist analysis without recognizing its connections with the (Marxist) ideology, or to enter into the practice of the lass-struggle and of its Marxist interpretation while failing to see the kind of totalitarian society to which this process slowly leads."--Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, Prefect, now Pope Benedict XVI; written in 1984

Understanding that black liberation theology is Marxism dressed up to look like Christianity helps explain why there is no conflict between Cone's "Christianity" [i.e. 'reverend Wright's thing] and Farrakhan's "Nation of Islam." They are two prophets in the same philosophical (Marxist) pod, merely using different religions as backdrops for their black-power aims.

Re: 911...

August, 2003: Ward Churchill Caught On Tape Advocating Terrorism [vs Fellow Americans]

Audio link at Michell Malkin's website (included below)

Question from audience:
You mentioned a little bit ago, "Why did it take a bunch of Arabs to do what you all should have done a long time ago," that's my question.

Churchill: I'm gonna repeat that, tell me if I got that right: Why shouldn't we do something and how do you you move so they don't see you coming.

As to the first part, not a reason in the world that I could see. I can't find a single reason that you shouldn't in a principled way —there may be some practical considerations, such as do you know how (laughter from audience)

—you know, often these things are processes. It's not just an impulse. And certainly it's not just an event.

And the simple answer, although it probably should be more complicated, but I'm not being flip and giving the simple answer, is:
You carry the weapon. That's how they don't see it coming. You're the one...

They talk about "color blind or blind to your color." You said it yourself.

You don't send the Black Liberation Army into Wall Street to conduct an action.

You don't send the American Indian Movement into downtown Seattle to conduct an action.

Who do you send? You. Your beard shaved, your hair cut close, and wearing a banker's suit.

There's probably a whole lot more to it, you know that. But there's where you start. .."

The audio is apparently no longer available -only transcript:

Who would plaster his Twitter page with police mug shot photos of convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur? Fox News contributor Marc Lamont Hill did. At least until David Horowitz and Accuracy in Media took notice and wrote about it. Now the page features photos of boxing great Muhammad Ali. Hill's MySpace page is also gone.

There are other changes as well. The tributes to Shakur and black racist Khallid Muhammad, known as "America's Black Hitler," have disappeared from his web pages. The articles were saved, however, and can be found here.

[These “liberation theologians” saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.]

Not realizing that when you take the assets of the crackers and then spend it up, there will be no more assets to take and spend up. What to do then? Cannibalism?

No matter what the color of non-producer (these people are not peasant farmers and workers, unless you call out of work union members “workers”), no amount of contributions will turn them into producers, so there agenda will only lead to collapse in short order.

Also, when one searches and interprets Scripture with the motivation of supporting anything selfish,THAT my friends, is straight from the pits of Hell.
