Lady-loving "Girls Gone Wild" tycoon Joe Francis is getting hitched, the New York Post reported Friday.
Francis, 37, proposed to Los Angeles' CBS News entertainment reporter Christina McLarty -- niece of Mack McLarty, former White House chief of staff to Bill Clinton -- while vacationing in St. Tropez. But it will not be a traditional wedding.

I was wondering when one of you would get around to that condemnation. I fall asleep at night with the Comedy channel on at night and eventually it gets around to GGW-wherever, whatever next excuse for getting drunk and showing your ass is. Yes, I hear it and sometimes see it during the times they are trying to get you to subscribe to their DVDs. Believe it or don’t, I don’t care. The whole thing wrong here is with all you liberated, open-minded ‘adults’ saying there’s nothing wrong with what this shitbag did. I differ and if you don’t like it then you’re entitled to it. Just don’t go pull some reverse implied condemnation like a damned Democrat would do to obfuscate the truth.
Anyone with a cable connection pretty much knows whats on those videos.Really? You mean blurred images of
I guess I missed the ones where they show men masturbating while watching the videos...But then unlike some people I have no interest in pretending to know what other men do in their privacy.
Go away. I’m done arguing with you people. You’re not worth it.
Freedom is a double-edged sword.
Thank you Karatemom. I appreciate your comments. I’ve come to the conclusion that young kids shouldn’t be provided with a cell phone.
Networking with others your age can be productive, but I’m not convinced that ‘networking on steroids’ (in effect) is healthy. We’re seeing some absolutely terrible down sides to this.
If you think your daughter needs to be able to call you if she gets in trouble, you need to be careful what types of situations you put her into in the first place.
Too many parents today are falling for the “...but every other kid has one (or is doing this) line these days.
It’s time some parents said no for a change.
“Pretending to know...”?
That’s really what you want to hang your credibility on?
There’s no need to go back and forth on this. I actually expected to get a lot more heated responses than yours.
You take care...
Aw jeez.
Yeah, right. There's only two options. Either spread eagle with an intrauterine camera or wearing a burka. Great philosophical point, there.
All legislation is an expression of morality. Even building codes are there because of the prevailing moral viewpoint that a structure should serve the purpose for which it is designed, and that death from a structural collapse is a bad thing. Theft and burglary laws are based on the moral premise that stealing is wrong. In Islam, killing your daughter for dishonoring you is acceptable, an expression of Islamic morality. Someone's morality is going to be legislated. Your argument is pulled out when an individual wants to avoid discussion of the law being considered, and is a misdirection used to confuse the issue.
I’d love to attend the wedding just so I can yell “Show me you t_ts!” at the bride.
Some of my friends work for fire departments that are in big spring break areas, and a significant number of their calls are on girls that are fifteen, sixteen and seventeen. They're often so drunk they're vomiting or going unconscious. Spring break isn't cheap, so these are usually girls who have access to family cash and somehow got permission to go to Spring Break with their buddies. Others are local girls who just wander down to the beach. I know some church groups who let their youth go on "Spring Break missionary trips." In my opinion, this is idiotic.
While it's crazy for Dad, Mom, or the church to let young people loose in this environment, I agree with you that this does not mean it's okay for a guy to take advantage of them.
Remember Natalie Holloway was on a “School Trip” to Aruba with her parent’s blessing...
I was about to post something similar to The Fugitive’s comments. We already legislate morality.
But I will add...I don’t believe pornography is protected free speech.
Although losing a child like this would make anyone crazy, I've always suspected that part of the mom's obsessive search was because of guilt over ignoring the sound advice of Natalee's father and letting her go on a trip that resulted in her death. Your point, though, is valid.
There's also a change in societal attitude in the US. Girls used to be protected and young girls were taught that "boys are only after one thing." Young ladies were taught never to be alone with a boy not only because of what it would do to their reputation, but because of the possibility of rape. In large portions of the population, this simply isn't taught anymore, and young women put themselves in very vulnerable positions as a result of it.
They have to do some backflips to justify legalized pornography. If I hire a girl to have sex with me it's prostitution and illegal. If I hire a girl to have sex with me, camcord it and post it on the web, it's legal.
The types of trips high schools kids take these days to ‘celebrate’, are beyond what I would allow.
If my high school graduate girl were to demand to go to Aruba, there would be no chance at all of me saying okay, go ahead.
“Here, we’ve worked our entire lives to get you to this point safely, so you can now go and risk your life in a foreign country. It’s okay.”
Nah, I’m stupid but not that stupid.
It would be fitting for them to have a baby girl who grows up and gets degraded on his Girls gone wild videos.
Not only is this not taught anymore but our media and culture sexualize the heck out of young girls to the point you can't differentiate young prostitutes from mall rats until she mentions her price.
“We have chosen to have a civil domestic partnership because we don’t believe it’s appropriate to be married until our gay and lesbian friends are afforded the same rights as us to legally marry in the United States,” Francis told the Post.
LMAO..
