Is this the same fish as the Snakehead, or a different one?

How do we know this isn’t eco-terrorism? Maybe someone dumped the fish in Lake Michigan.

Commercial fishermen landed the 3-foot-long, 20-pound bighead carp
If they caught one then you can bet there's others swimming around. I think the cat's out of the bag now.......

Libs are exquisitely attuned to when there are invasive plants, bugs or fish. I know ones who go nuts even over iceplant.
But they won’t bat an eyelash in view of a proposition to move Mexico City north of the border, NOPE!
In fact, the machine goes into reverse, and this sends an illicit thrill up their leg.

“Responsibility for this potential economic and ecological disaster rests solely with President Obama,” Cox said. “He must take action immediately by ordering the locks closed and producing an emergency plan to stop Asian carp from entering Lake Michigan.”

He stepped into a fight that he had no business in to protect his Chicago allies.
Michigan alone has a 6 billion dollar sportfishing industry at stake

The reality is there’s no stopping them, and from the size of the thing you can see it’s been feeding well, they’ll devour the entire Great Lake system before it’s over. To bad they don’t feed on Zebra Muscles ...
What a shame

“the Asian Carp Regional Coordinating Committee???”.....WTF?
Sounds like the Chicago Fish Community Organizers are a failure also!......But Carp and Chicago go together anyway.

You have to watch out those single Asian carp will have a few drinks and then try to put the moves on your girlfriend.

Commercial fishermen landed the 3-foot-long, 20-pound bighead carp in Lake Calumet on Chicago's South Side That's just disgusting. Who do they supply to and what is it they supply? (I'm hoping its for fertilizer companies)

Closing the locks would cause the unemployment of a lot of folks who work down here. Possibly including me.

With proper netting you could make a lot of fertiilzer/cat food with those fish.. or food processed to feed other marketable species.. like aqua-culture shrimp or salmon/tuna or even piggies...
Only thing needed is the ability to CAPITALIZE on the problem..
