###

John Kerry reporting for dootie!
Had our president been a man with thicker skin, he would have ignored it. Had our president put the troops first, he would have ignored it. Now our troops are in the middle of this. It is bound to cause loss of morale.
Had our president realized that if he spoke out, others would too, making the whole thing out of proportion and making us look foolish in the eyes of other countries.
There were other ways to deal with this issue, in private, without bringing the General to Washington, taking him away from his duties, and causing all of this.
Quiet patience, strong silence, and tact were what was called for. The marks of a leader. Marks Obama does not possess. He is like the little kid in the school yard who takes his ball away if he does not like the way other kids are playing. What a wuss, wuss, wuss. I get more discouraged every day. It is bad enough he is not a good leader...he is not even a good, grownup man.
Duncan Hunter?

Before judging physique, consider the profiles of tyrants.
Know what I think? I think that drooling pantywaist in the Oval Office (sigh......) just REVELS in his ability to call a 4-star general from the other side of the world, during a war, to HIS office, JUST to dress him down and show what a bad ass he is.
I really do. Disgusts me to say it, though.
Post of the day. Exactly what I would say myself.
Et tu Hamid?
Remember when Il Douche’ Jr. was running for office, claiming the whole world was going to re-think their position with the United States, because he was going to be so superior to George Bush?
Hell, this third grade level moron can’t even keep Muslims on his side.
Yes, but his political standing is so fragile and ephemereal that to not do anything now would show him to be a paper tiger. He had to pull this grandstanding stunt.
It is an indication of his executive and leadership qualities (rather, the lack of) that has caused the chaos and discord between the WH, its factions and the military on the ground.
Just went to the Rolling Stone site and read the entire article. McCrystal never really bad-mouths Zero, but his staff make some pretty good comments regarding Biden and Eikenberry.
The tone of the article is something McCrystal had no control over and it’s certainly not complimentary toward O’bummer. If that’s the O’zer’s beef, he should be calling the editor of Rolling Stone to his office to kick-ass, not Gen Stan McCrystal.
For what it's worth, I doubt the troops are demoralized by this. It has generated a lot of conversation, jokes and other commentary. Diversions like this are viewed as a form of entertainment and entertainment is a prized commodity in a war zone.
I still remember the great amusement and fun that was spawned by John F'in' Kerry's remark about getting "stuck in Iraq."
Col. Jack Jacobs: McChrystal Views 'Widely Held' In Military
That’s encouraging .. hope it’s the case.
Some days, I imagine they feel like they’ve

Hope your world is fairly peaceful .. sure
is notable how little Iraq is a topic for
the presstitutes, isn’t it. Keep safe .. HUGS!
Not to changed the subject, but is FR loading slow for everyone too?
Just got a bit slower, but nowhere near as
hairpulling agonizing like yesterday.

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai flew to this restive city on Sunday and told a gathering of local leaders to prepare themselves for sustained operations to rid the area of Taliban insurgents and for the pain those operations would exact.

I agree.... and I hate to say this, but I believe that we actually NEED an uprising by the military, led by the colonels, majors & captains, to overthrow the politically correct weenie, in-the-tank for 0b0z0 generals & admirals AND to throw out & imprison the entire executive branch especially 0b0z0, and the socialist demoRATs in Congress. We need a violent, bloody upheavel by patriots in the military if our country is to be saved from the islamic commie pig 0b0z0.
