If you dare to ask a Democratic congressman if he fully supports president Obamas radical leftist agenda, you should expect to get roughed up by him, and the whole violent episode to be carefully ignored by our beloved mainstream media. Thats the lesson America learned this week.
This was a case of a couple of students who have the unmitigated gall to ask a congressman a question! Glenn Beck remarked sarcastically on his TV show. (transcript here)
Frankly, Im amazed that the young filmmakers who were so violently assaulted by Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-N.C.) earlier this week, didnt sock Big Bob in the jaw. The distinguished gentleman certainly deserved it. And since they faced a serious physical threat from the man it would have been a legitimate act of self-defense. If a physically imposing man grabs a smaller man for no reason he ought to expect a nasty hoofing to the groin at a minimum

Great post from ACORN-slayer extraordinaire Matthew Vadum

I’ve stated several times: Congress’ failure to get rid of this drunken creep amounts to defacto support of violent confrontations between the elected and the electorate...

Let’s just purge all the “ruling class” and not worry about having to physically correct their behavior.
The best thing for this country to do would be a complete purge (might have to take a few cycles) of all those with the “master” mindset and replace them with those of a servant mindset.

First, I would have said, “Congressman, you NEED to let go of me.”

If this jackass had been a Republican, he’d have been out on his kiester before the end of the day.

Go back and look at all the YouTubes of the Townhall Meetings last summer. You will see Elitist Thugs in office that must be voted out.
We have thugs and goons in our government and in this Regime.

Actually, I think the students handled it perfectly. If they would have punched him back. They may have legally been in the right, but the MSM media would have played it as a bunch of violent conservative thugs provoking, then assaulting an old man. The way it happened they came out looking great, and the congressman looked like an out of control jerk. Sometimes it's more productive to use brains than brawn...

When Is It OK To Give A Congressman A Good Old-Fashioned Beating? Hmmm, I don't know...
At least once a day?
Every time he opens his mouth?
Every time he proposes a new piece of legislation that gives him more power and the people less freedom?

Only one time and place. On the floor of the House, or Senate as the case may be.

It made the two "conservatives" look wimpy, not serious. Sorry, it does. If I had been me, the congresscritter would have gone down. The only thing liberals(MSM) understand is brute force.

The students knew it was being videotaped, the a-hole Congressman did not. That knowledge informs the conduct. I agree with the poster who said the kids acted correctly.
I’m appalled, but not surprised, the MSM won’t run it. They never do.
