In the mean time CMS has placed a hold on all medicare claims and doctors are not getting paid one red cent for treating medicare patients.

They’re talking about a new bill possibly before the end of the week. It’s business as usual.

They should have fixed this long ago and the fact they haven’t is a pox on both sides of the aisle.

I think he simply doesn’t believe in classical macroeconomics.

But he's following the Keynesian model. He's copying what Japan did and expecting a different result.

Please, who’s talking? I need a link so I prop up whatever fading hope that someone, somewhere, is actually doing something constructive.

What the Democrats seem determined to do, is hire every person who is unemployed, via these bills.

Hell, these folks could have a more steady income than a hundred million people who have been determined to keep working, and have changed jobs a number of times during this economic downturn.

Sooner or later, unemployment comes to and end.

The fix is to stimulate the economy, not redistribute wealth forever.

The reaity is that Onada has gotten very little done. Onadacare does not really kick in for another two or three years. Not one Pubbie voted for it. If the dems lose their majority in the House and/or Senate Onadacare could be defunded or otherwise neutered. He lost Tax and Trade and he has failed so far in getting the Unemployment Bill passed. So far his attempts to muzzle conservatives has failed. I believe any subsequent talk about a new “stimulus” will not get traction. And he has demonstrated how out of his depth he is vis-a-vis BP crude disastor.

Despite his army of czars, Congressional majorities, left coopted Wall Street and senior religious leadership he is not getting his agenda though. Despite leftist coopted education, unions and media most of what The One has tried to shove down our throats has failed or been serioiusly curtailed.

It looked like it should have been easy for The Marxist Usurper, but he removed his Marxist mask too soon. I believe most voters are on to him now.

I will concede Onada is being relentless in his efforts to destroy the American economic engine and weaken us militarily. But I strongly believe he will not be able to achieve too much more than he already has—particularly if he loses his Congressional majority in November.

It depends on the circumstances of the recipient. For some, UI benefits are not nearly enough to get by. For others, it is enough, if even barely, and so they are content to not aggressively look for work.

It is already well above 9%. Real unemployment nationally is probably somewhere around 15%. Why exactly do you buy into that number while, at the same time not take into account all those who’ve simply stopped looking or those Census jobs that are skewing the numbers?

Anyone who uses the government propaganda generated number gives it credibility. 9% is a manufactured number just like Wall Street economic indices are being manufactured. Dems desperately will do anything to keep the unemplyment number under 10%. Just as they dsperately want the DOW to be over 11,000 going into October. You know, for the November elections.

I’am afraid nothing is going to happen until America wakes up and removes obama and congress(republicans and democrats)and most of the Supreme court.

No, but they should not have stuck the Doc Fix in this bill, but they did and now they have doctors over a barrel so either they keep their voters on permanent unemployment or doctors can go broke and stop seeing the elderly.

Correct. The policy is to destroy all commerce except for that which contributes to the comfort and satiation of the Chosen One and his regime.

Problem is, once they have the wealth and spend it on their recreation activities there will not be anything left, then we will have given our soul to the Chinese, who hate us. YES The CHINESE HATE US!
