Worst US President ever? Yeah. He wins that easily.

Yeah, and he's not even really the President. As bad as he was, how could Carter possibly have been worse?

Is President Obama the Worst President in History?

Yes, and he also has the worst press secretary in history.

Alvin Greene for press secretary!

I agree. I still remember my trek from Boston to Baltimore before Thanksgiving in 1977. The New Jersey Turnpike gas stations only allowed 1 gallon of gas per car. We had to stop every 12 miles. Took us forever.

This scenario could be repeated soon.

The difference I think is that Carter didn't like the situation but he was too inept to change it.

I don't think Obama minds the present situation at all and if it gets worse he me relish it. Which will make him worse.

The Islamic War is already happening. It is ongoing from the 600s. The American phase of that war dates from the Carter Adiministration though the US was involved peripherally from the US's beginning. The Kenyan seems set to bring the first major defeat of the West and of America in this war. He is certainly trying for that distinction.

And then there is that other incipient big war that is building in Korea because Soetoro won't take care of business (Bush refused to deal with it too).

I was a married adult in the military when Carter became president. He was worthless and certainly no leader but he became worse after his disasterous term than he was during it, as bad as it was. BO is many times worse than Carter, LBJ, FDR, Wilson or any other historical president. He is actively trying to destroy the Constitution, is open about it and is arrogant and dismissive of the problems he is causing because the havoc he is causing is part of his agenda. I do believe he should be driven from office and the democrat party outlawed and driven from the country.

It’s not the right question — for me, Carter is the worst because what he set into motion — it was under his watch that the USSR invaded Afgh and Islamic jihad was reborn with the Taliban, and the deposing of the shah of Iranm which more jihand — inevitably led to Obama.

"I think Woodrow Wilson needs to be in the running."

Actually, I think Wilson was hands down, the worst, but given time, Obama's got the potential to surpass him.

My top ten worst:

  1. James Buchanan
  2. BO
  3. Jimmy Carter
  4. Lyndon B. Johnson
  5. Ulysses S. Grant
  6. Franklin D. Roosevelt
  7. Woodrow Wilson
  8. Martin Van Buren
  9. Bill Clinton
  10. Franklin Pierce

Buchanan is still leading BO for one reason only: BO hasn't ushered in a civil war. Yet.
