MSNBC on Etheridge Assault: An 'Ambush Interview,' GOP 'Set Up'

In the 2PM ET hour on MSNBC, anchor Tamron Hall did a news brief on Democratic Congressman Bob Etheridge assaulting two students attempting to ask him a question last week, proclaiming: "...there are some Democrats that are blasting the people allegedly behind this video....some would catagorize that as an ambush interview..."

The congressman first grabs the hand of the youth with his right hand

then grabs the camera out of the youth's hand with his left hand

and and continually asks who are you.and pulls it down to his side.

then next grabs him with one hand by the back of the neck while facing him..

Then pulls him toward him and to his side where he puts his arm around him:

the youth finally pushes away from him and the congressman leaves with his camera (but he must have got it back because the first part of the video is from the camera the congressman grabs and walks away with)

Whatever else its definitely battery and the kid never lays a hand on the congressman except to push away from him.

The MSM only questions “who’s behind” the video when a Democrat or Liberal is being exposed or confronted. I don’t ever recall an MSM reporter or talking head wonder “who was behind” the George Allen “Macakca” video. The Bush drinking video that appeared on the eve of the 2000 election was proudly shown on every prime-time news show, without hesitation or consideration about “who was behind” the video. So here it is once again, the liberal media double-standard, videos that confront conservatives are celebrated and shown over and over again, and videos that target liberals and Democrats immediately have their source and validity questioned.

Some toady over at the Washington Post tried to call it a hug and speculated that some evil right wingers "TMZed" Etheridge.

The reporter and Etheridge were relentlessly slammed by 95% of the respondents.

I guess liberals will take a lot of crap from a leftwing government, but a congressman assaulting some polite kid asking an innocous question is apparently just a bit too much.

Even if the “Ambush/Project” to ask the man a question about his support of the Obama agenda was a set up, we see a man commit assualt and battery right before our eye's.
