COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- Former state lawmaker Vic Rawl on Monday formally protested the results of the U.S. Senate primary he lost last week to an unknown, unemployed military veteran.
South Carolina Democratic Party Executive Director Jay Parmley said Rawl filed his protest with the party just before the noon deadline.

...this thing is far from over...what are the Dems going to do about a black candidate that wins, but isn’t from the Dem plantation?
To: Free ThinkerNY
At least Greene served in the military. That alone gives him the right to run for office.

Yeah, Vic, the blacks voted for Greene because he’s black and you’re not and now you don’t like it.
Did you “protest the results” when blacks overwhelmingly supported Obummer simply because he’s half-black?

It is perfectly legal for anyone to give a gift, without tax consequence to anyone (family or unrelated) of $13,000 in any single tax year. If someone gave him a gift of the amount of the filing fee and he spent it filing for the race, there is no illegality. The democrats have been sucked into a black hole on this one, the louder they protest, the more it hurts them. But I don’t think they know that yet.
To: STONEWALLS
Even better, what's going to happen if the SC State Democrat Party manages to remove the black primary winner and replaces him with the preferred white guy?
That will not go over well with black SC Democrat voters at all...
To: Psycho_Bunny
Actually, it is I need a do-over because my
opponent's voters are morons
I don't a way that the SC Jackass Party can cleanly extract themselves from this, do you?

There is nothing democrats hate more than democracy...and expect their media to cover for them while they demonize this good man.

Nah . . . in this one Rawl is right to question the whole situation - a guy who was dishonorably discharged from the military, never left his house to campaign, no one has ever heard of him, has mediocre (at best) public speaking abilities, currently has a public defender in his obscenity case because he couldn't afford to pay for legal representation yet somehow has 10K to pay to enter the race (and why on earth is there such a high price to pay to be in an election?!) . . . something is way off, something other than the Democrats being too lazy to vet their candidates.
On another note, how embarrassing is it to be Rawl and loose hands down to a non candidate. But it doesn't matter, DeMint should and is going to win. Now if we can just get Graham out.

I don’t get the $10,000 ‘filing fee’. What’s up with THAT!?

This is just so damn funny! I can't wait to see what happens.
I"ve seen no real explanation put forth, for how this person won the primary. No explanation that I've seen makes any sense whatsoever. It makes me wonder if there is a much bigger story underlying the election of Mr. Greene. But what could it be? Very curious indeed.

Where did the votes come from? Maybe through an investigation they’ll inadvertently uncover massive voter fraud:)
