It is perfectly legal for anyone to give a gift, without tax consequence to anyone (family or unrelated) of $13,000 in any single tax year. If someone gave him a gift of the amount of the filing fee and he spent it filing for the race, there is no illegality. The democrats have been sucked into a black hole on this one, the louder they protest, the more it hurts them. But I don’t think they know that yet.

Greene’s answer should be “I was able to save the money I would have used on a downpayment because Fannie Mae let me buy my house with a sub-prime with no money down”
