New Jersey Politicians Want A List of NRA Members and their Employers!

Friday, June 11, 2010

In a blatant attempt by entrenched New Jersey politicians to strong arm citizens who oppose their re-election, Assemblywoman Linda Greenstein (D-14) and her co-sponsors have introduced legislation which would require certain contributors to “issue advocacy organizations”, including the NRA, to have their names, addresses and their employers information sent to the government.

A2595, if passed, will mandate that any “issue advocacy organization” classified under IRS Code as a 501(C) (3), 501 (C) (4) or 527 that engages in the election or defeat of any person to State or local elective office; the passage or defeat of any public question; or that provides political information on any candidate, must submit the names and addresses of contributors and their employers to the Election Law Enforcement Commission.

Not only is Assemblywoman Greenstein (D-14) the prime sponsor of A2595, but she is also the Chair of the committee that will hear the bill. The Assembly Judiciary Committee will hear the bill on Monday, June 14th at 10:00 am.

A2595 is a shameless attempt to intimidate citizens who engage in the legislative and political process.

Please contact your Assemblymembers today and urge him or her to oppose A2595!

Assembly Judiciary Committee:

Linda R. Greenstein (D-14)- Chair

(609) 395-9911

Louis D. Greenwald (D-6)

The Left doesn’t care about their Communist affiliations being exposed.. It’s a prerequisite now!

“The statist left is on a most dangerous path.”

At the risk of sounding like a sunshine patriot, the left and the so-called right (i.e.: our government(s)), have been on this path for roughly a century and no one has smacked their wee wees. Why should they be concerned about it now?

"Do you really think this would apply to “LEFTIST” groups?"

After the appropriate lawsuits, yes. It's that pesky old "equal protection under the law" thing.

Janet Incompetano mated with Marty Allen?

Someone was worrying the other day about what the left was going to do to replace Helen Thomas, and I suggested crossing Nancy Lugosi, er, Pelosi with Harry Reid and a shar pei.

“Are you now, or have you ever been a member of the N.R.A.?”

Oh, I was only a member ONCE.

Waiting for Lawsuits would be a defacto surrender to the Liberals.

If the Liberal Politicians want to play Street Ball, then the NRA-ILA and all of the Supporters of Gun Rights need to compile and publish up-to-date lists of the home addresses of Liberal Politicians as well as addresses associated with these politicians such as childrens’ and grand-childrens’ schools.

AIG type protests outside their homes and schools would be payback for what the Libs do on a routine basis.

Conservatives who are not willing to participate can paste their white Handkerchiefs of surrender on their Door posts.

I think the New Jersey politicians should let their employers know all their memberships. That includes the CPUSA, SPUSA, and other commie memberships.

We need addresses and phone numbers of all greenpeace members,

environmentalists,

and global warming dupes.

They all might be terrorists - our “excuse” for what we must do.../s

The left will simply ignore it and nothing will happen.

Just as they continue to campaign in churches and fail to pay taxes.

The bill does not extend to “Labor, agricultural, or horticultural organizations” for some reason.

that doesn’t matter. I put a little blurb to it on my facebook page and specifically removed NRA and used ASPCA, NJPIRG and Sierra Club.
