As much as I think certain people here are way over the top in their irrational, ignorant fear and hatred of pedophiles...You appear to have been persuaded by the homosexual agenda in normalizing the behavior. You treat this behavior and lifestyle as though it's like race, or some other inherent trait. That's simply not true, though they have been pushing very hard on many fronts to make it appear and to be accepted as such.
Homosexuality is an act, a choice and a lifestyle. It's no more wrong to oppose it than it is to oppose other destructive and immoral acts and lifestyles: pedophelia, zoophelia, alcoholism, drug addiction, etc.. Every one of them can have strong genetic and/or environmental components to them, yet we don't accept that they should be normalized and protected classes. Every one of them is wrong and destructive, and we oppose them. Homosexuality is no different, really.
Conservatives are not "irrational and ignorant" because they hold the line on condemning immoral and destructive acts and lifestyles. Accepting the homosexual propaganda, on the other hand, does not make one rational and knowledgeable either.

This is exactly what queers and homophiles do; they harrass and sexually offend kids—this is the face of sexual perverts confronted with those that are disgusted by their deviant behavior. This women should be charged with assault, child abuse and sexual harrassment.
Nobody on the planet fears queers. Making ignorant statements does little to promote your homophilia. Most people, especially men are however, disgusted by deviant sexual behavior such as two males felching, rimming and the general consumption of fecal material. If you consider public health worthy of consideration then you know that male homosexuals are the #1 vector for the spread of infectious diseases. Take time to look past the hollywood marketing of deviance and look at the science. This behavior is a huge and easily controllable health care cost with consequences out-costing smoking tobacco. If you are interested, I can provide info from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), but this is science, not the marketing of deviance.

Just to head this off at the pass. There is NO genetic component to homosexuality, pedophilia or zoophilia. These are chosen behaviors and are abberations from normal heterosexuality.
Every study that has ever shown a gentic link for homosexual behavior has been debunked. Many studies have shown no genetic link whatsoever.
Alcoholism does, and drug addiction etc may have a genetic component. They are legitimate genetic diseases and should never be linked to behavioral choices such as perverse sexuality.

Well said! What IS “irrational” is promoting homosexuality as a normal, healthy ‘alternative’ life style.
Maybe I should have phrased it differently. I believe any number of aberrations can have genetic predispositions, or in other words, a person may be born with a particular weakness.
Some people will become alcoholics when they drink and others will not, with everything else being equal. That particular weakness is something some are born with. This fact does not excuse the problem, but it is readily observable.
Likewise, I think a homosexual can be born with a weakness which might lean him in that direction, but in no way does it automatically dictate that this will be his future and lifestyle. Nor does it excuse the choice to walk down that path.
So, no, I don't believe in a "gay gene", but I do think it's one of many weaknesses a person may be born with.

I know we have the reflex home schoolers, but this seems an acknowledgement that school choice is not only better, it should be mandatory.

If you are born with it, it's genetic. No one is "born" homosexual, or even with a tendency to it. It only arises due to trauma of some sort.
The lead cause is an absent or insufficent relationship with one's father. Second most prevalent cause is being sexually molested or otherwise abused, Third seems to be relentless teasing by one's peers during the formative years. All of these are environmental factors. Not genetic.
