El holandés, que se dedica a recorrer el mundo participando en torneos de póquer, tenía las manos esposadas en el momento de ser sacado desde el cuartel “Borgoño”, de la PDI, donde pasó la noche.
The Dutchman, who crosses the world participating in poker matches, had the newlywed hands at the time he was removed from the “Borgoño” station quarters of the PDI {Chilean LE), where he spent the night.
What a great sentence. From poker player to nervous.
Peruvians
Good to see his head lowered with a worried look on his face. Reality seems to be slapping him upside his melon head. Melons make good targets.
“had the newlywed hands”
I’ve never heard that expression.
I like it!
***had the newlywed hands***
should read: his hands were cuffed!!! LOL!!!!
LOL @ JoeProBono & His Medical Team!!!
The Peruvians appear to be VERY business like, no nonsense, even saturnine.
It’s a good photo. Maybe I should post it as a seperate thread for others?
There should be a slew of appropriate articles coming in over the wires all evening, LOLOLOL, ya know?
Yep, this is really a dynamite photo; you gotta find some article though, to post right underneath it. ANYTHING, lol!
Very interesting video. Sounds like the Peruvians are going to keep a tight grip on Joran.
He’ll be brought to trial before a tribunal of judges who will determine his innocence or guilt. They will also determine his sentence, if any. There will be no jury, since Peru doesn’t use them. It appears possible that Joran’s involvement in the the Holloway disappearance will affect his prospects for bail and, if convicted, later sentencing.
If found guilty, he could receive 20 years to life in prison, there being no death penalty in Peru. However, once sentenced, Peru would take a very dim view of letting him out of the country to face further charges in the US or Aruba, for fear he may receive bail or held by authorities indefinitely.
It all sounds very bad for Joranbut he’s had five years free to do or make something of better himself and that hasn’t happened. He’s still his old self and it looks like his ways are catching up with him.
I've not read the article, but the *title* sounds appropriate for the picture -- take a looksee and see whether the article is any good for posting along with the remarkable photograph:
If he knew this photo with his pants clearly...umm...well...falling down he’d be even more subdued than in that 502 photo!

06/04/2010 -- The brother of the Dutchman suspected in a teen's Caribbean island disappearance and the murder of a woman in Peru is a student at a Boston college.
Joran van der Sloot's brother, Valentijn van Der Sloot, attends Emerson College and is currently enrolled in the Class of 2012, the college confirmed.....
If he’d killed my daughter...he wouldn’t have had five years to walk around.
Nice ears, Urine
Nancy Grace - Jean (?) substituting - murder weapon found - is a baseball bat. Brutal slaying - can hardly be construed as *self-defense*.
Strange that no-one heard the beating or screams - she must have been unconscious/drugged (?) before he began beating her.

Mountain Brook, Alabama (WIAT) The Holloway family and the Flores family maybe on different continents, but they are closely connected by two acts of violence. The disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba, and the murder of Stephany Flores in Peru are both linked to one man Joran Van Der Sloot and both happening on the same day exactly five years apart.....
__snip__
.....For the Flores family who are just beginning to live this nightmare, involving Joran Van Der Sloot, all bits of new information are not only shocking, but frightening.
"We saw the video in the hotel and casino. The owner of the casino is a friend of the family. I saw the face, I saw when he left with our sister," says Enrique Flores, the brother of Stephany Flores.
The man's face they saw, and the name they received from the casino had no meaning for the Flores family until they got home and Googled him.
"I get to the house I went to internet in Stephany's room. I put the name of this person in Google that's when we start to read all the information that appears there. The murder of this pure girl Natalee Holloway in Aruba," says Carolina Jorge Flores, Stephany's sister in law.
What they read about the man their sister left with put them immediately into action, in fear for her life.
"The minute I start to read that I called my father in law and I called the police that was in the house. At that moment we got scared and freaking out. Like an hour later they found her in the hotel," says Carolina Jorge Flores.....
Extremely sad. Heartbreaking.
