Getting paid by the minute, no can do.
He probably needs the strap for something else he’s planning to do next and doesn’t want to have to send another one down.
They’re coming in wait another rov with a saw.
wait = with
Watch the fingers
You know what is freaky? If you stare at plume it has shapes of faces, devil like.
Yeah. On radio! I always remember a Stan Freberg spot touting radio ads, and the things you could do, like fill Lake Michigan with chocolate sauce and drop in a giant maraschino cherry ... "Cue the maraschino cherry! ... BLOOOOP..."
Here’s another one. If they can get the riser cut off, why not insert a tapered section of pipe, with a valve on it,(left open during insertion) into the BOV and just jam the thing in intil it seals. Then turn the valve off and complete the piping up to the drill rig?
I don’t know why they don’t modify a set of jaws off of a demolition track hoe, send it down and crip the damn pipe...
Gimme that damn saw, I’ll do it.
Well, he ought have spares.. Looks like the extra hook on the cable that was sent down was about to knock his camera out a while ago...
OK, I think I see what they are doing. Looks like they are just trying to remove a small section of the small pipe. Should be off soon.
btt
Yea, why remove 10+ feet when you can remove 6” at a time...
God help us if they nick the strap!
MSM hasn’t claimed that but if this thing goes to August, all marine life may be decimated in the gulf. THis is really bad if it goes on for two more months.
I am sorry but I can’t find humor in it, maybe later, but for now all I see is misery coming out of this.
Looks like they are trying to finish the cut of the small pipe. The wrap will then pull the section out leaving area to work on main pipe.
They need Norm Abramson on the saw.
This Old Oil Well.
....Is that a Makita?.....
Geez, I hope so! They are the best!
I am so entranced with this video, wish they had a commentator. Amazing, a mile down, remote control!
