An interesting “stand-off’’ of sorts developed outside a barbecue President Obama was attending at a friend’s house Saturday night between followers of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan on one side and members of the press and the U.S. Secret Service guarding the president on the other.
Just a few blocks from Obama’s home in the Kenwood/Hyde Park neighborhood, Obama’s friend Marty Nesbitt lives across the street from the ornate yellow-gold home where Farrakhan lives.

I enjoyed the article.
The Media Pool along with the secret servicemen were doing there job with no hoopla.
As the article pointed out many times the “fruits” made themselves and their Leader look like “fools”.
What I picked up on from the journalists writing was:
1. The reported stepped on Public City Grass, not private property.
2.The Fruits were clueless about who/what media along with Secret Service in tow were doing there.
3.Therefore they tried to intimidate by walking around the “pool” by chanting ISLAM.
THe Secret Service agent very politely went into “action” to back the “foolish fruit” off IOW go away and mind your own business you have none “here” on a city public street/curb/grass.
Kudo’s to the reporter/journalist who wrote this story.
And the media pool seems were not impressed with the attempt at intimadation by the “fruits” hence asking the “fruits” if they the media could use Louie’s Loo.
Wish I was there to enjoy seeing an USS agent politely tell Louis Fruits to get lost and the antics of the Media.
They look like a bunch of train conductors or baggage handlers. All aboard!!
Probably quite a few ex-cons in the bunch too.
I’d give almost anything to know exactly what the secret service thinks of Obama and his friends and neighbors.
They might argue structure, purpose, and dignity.
Well, one agent told 0bama to his face in the WH that he would not take a bullet for him because of the way he & his family were speaking about Americans. I think the guy has been reassigned or quit, IIRC. There were stories about this for a while. They’re gone now, but you can find them if you hunt (for quite a while) on FR.
well i remember - maybe 10 or 12 years ago. was working the 3-11 shift and put on C-span after i stretched out on my bed. Louie was on - didn’t know who he was back then. it was midnight. was thunderstruck listening to the things he was saying. kept thinking he’d sign off shortly so stuck with him through his harangue. He never stopped until 5 a.m. and i was so amazed by him, decided i’d wait him out. To this day i cannot forget the things he said. i was working psych at the time and i absolutely pegged him for bi-polar in a manic phase. when he went off on the number association thing - well, what can i say. wish i could dig that up from somewhere. Gosh that will give me something to do on my day off!
