Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh is set to marry his longtime girlfriend, Kathryn Rogers, next week in an intimate ceremony at his beachfront home in Palm Beach, Fla.
Limbaugh, 59, met 33-year-old Rogers, a direct descendant of Founding Father John Adams, in 2004 when she ran a golf tournament/charity fundraiser and Limbaugh was a celebrity guest, Jose Lambiet reports in his column in the Palm Beach Post.
At the time, Limbaugh was getting divorced from third wife Marta. That split was finalized later that year, and Limbaugh and Rogers were an item by the summer of 2007.

I’ve always wished that Rush would marry and have kids-preferably a son that is just like him. Think of the dimension it would bring to his already-stellar performance.
She will keep him young.....and that makes me happy. Rush is very important in our fight for our country. Many blessings Rush and family.

Wonderful news! Congratulations Rush and Katherine, I am very happy for you both.
Collateral as opposed to Direct, like being descended from John Adams Sr's brother: nth great grand uncle as opposed to nth great grandfather. So as a collateral relative - kinfolk - you'd be a direct descendant from Adam's father but hey, who knows who he is?

Age is no indicator of maturity.
All sorts of things factor into the maturity of a person.
I know a couple who married years ago, when the man was in his early thirties. The woman was 15 years older. He was mature. (”When you’re grown up you’re grown”.) They are still in love and happy. Their marriage has lasted longer than those of many of the people who whispered and talked about them back in the day. He is almost 70 now.
I suspect that Kathryn will now reside atop the list of Rush’s Top 10 female names!
