I noticed during our dear leader's press conference He mentioned that the Gulf oil leak is the first thing He thinks about in the morning & the last thing He thinks about in the evening before hitting the sack.
He said the same thing - using almost the exact words - in another situation & another "crisis."
Can anyone provide a link - youtube preferred - with Him saying those words again? It happened about almost a year ago.
thanks!
BTW, this was brought up in the roundtable discussion on Fox News during the 5PM hour by one of the panel members.
It ALWAYS creeps me out when I hear statements I’ve made on Free Republic repeated by someone on Fox News or by Rush Limbaugh.
"I know that for the millions of Americans who are looking for work, and all those who are struggling in this economy, full recovery can't come soon enough. I hear from you at town hall meetings like this. I read your letters. These stories are the first thing I think about in the morning and the last thing I think about at night - and the focus of my attention every day."
Yeah, that’s the quote, thanks! Now I just gotta do the google thing and find a good link to it.
Much appreciated.
I think its about time they recognized my genius.
“As President, my greatest responsibility is the security of the American people. It is the first thing I think about when I wake up in the morning. It’s the last thing I think about when I go to sleep at night. “
Awesome get.
“......... The stories I hear are the first thing that I think about in the morning; they’re the last thing I think about at night. They’re the focus of my attention every waking minute of every day..........”

I hate repeaters. I hate repeaters!
Jim Geraghty at National Review has compiled a list:
“Obamas Ever-Changing Top Priorities
Today President Obama said that stopping the oil spill has been his highest priority.
He seems to have a lot of top priorities; hes identified several in his remarks since the initial explosion on the oil rig April 20.
President Obama with Mexican president Felipe Calderon, May 19: We agreed to continue working aggressively on our highest economic priority, which is creating jobs for our people.
Obama with Hamad Karzai, May 12: This is a reaffirmation of the friendship between the American people and the Afghan people. When I came into office, I made it very clear that, after years of some drift in the relationship, that I saw this as a critical priority.
Obama at the Business Council, May 4: More broadly, spurring job creation and economic expansion continues to be our number one domestic priority.
Obama at a town-hall meeting in Ottumwa, Iowa, April 27: I dont want to close off trade with other countries I want to open those countries because thats a lot of where the growth is and thats where we can sell our products and weve got a competitive advantage. But weve got to keep on pushing and be tough in our negotiations, and thats something thats going to be a top priority.
Obama in Fort Madison, Iowa, April 27: And thats why our energy security has been a top priority for my administration since the day I took office.

Yeah, I bet he’s thinking about it while he’s golfing and throwing dinner parties, too.
We're a team.
LOL!! Me too.
Now I know how ‘anonymous’ came about on all those quotes.
I don’t have a link but it was about terrorism and national security so it was probably right around Christmas. No, that’s not right, it took days to get a response on that so maybe it was mid-January?? Or was at the time of Ft. Hood? Humm... he didn’t respond to that right away either as I recall so best I can guess it was weeks after the event, just like this one is!!
Wow! That phrase sure gets around!
Thanks for that link.
Hell, I’m waiting for a FoxNews babe to use my word, “Enemedia.”
That’s the new media. MSM became Pravda and citizen reporters break the news stories these days.
