Too Close for Comfort? Author Penning Sarah Palin Expose Moves Next Door to Her (PRICELESS VIDEO)

Joe McGinniss' Book, Slated for 2011 Release, Is Being Written in Wasilla, Alaska, next door to Sarah Palin's home!

The former Alaska governor has a new neighbor and it's not someone she is happy about. Author and investigative reporter Joe McGinniss , who has written critically of Palin in the past, rented the house next to the former GOP vice presidential candidate so he can write a book about her.

The Palins , whose ever-expanding compound is bustling with construction, are putting up a new fence that they hope will block McGinniss' view. Palin took to Facebook Wednesday to complain about McGinniss.

"Yes, that Joe McGinniss. Here he is about 15 feet away on the neighbor's rented deck overlooking my children's play area and my kitchen window," the former governor wrote. "We're sure to have a doozey to look forward to with this treasure he's penning. Wonder what kind of material he'll gather while overlooking Piper's bedroom, my little garden, and the family's swimming hole?"

Palin also called into conservative commentator Glenn Beck's radio show Wednesday to express her frustration. "He's an odd character," she said. "If you look at his history, and the things that he's written and that the things he's been engaged in, but you know as they say, fences make for good neighbors and Todd and his buddies started the fence yesterday and it's looking good."

In 2009, McGinniss wrote a critical piece on Palin and her natural gas pipeline plan for Portfolio, a Conde Nast publication. His book, tentatively titled "Sarah Palin's Year of Living Dangerously," is expected to be released in 2011.

Strange, very strange female to permit her husband to publically stalk another woman.

My husband spotted the story yesterday and told me about it. My reaction right away was the guy is infatuated with her. No one does what he has done otherwise, especially when he has publicly put her down. You have to go back to late grade school in your memory to recall that kind of behavior. Remember? Well, later yesterday I read another story or maybe it was a news video that confirmed my suspicion. McGinniss’ son said his dad remarked that “he wanted to be around to pick up the pieces when Tod leaves Sarah.” The guy is married, too - one of those liberal gals that kept her own last name, I believe. (Sorry, I can’t find the site or post that related that information about the son.)

He's got a wife; I don't know how many children, but one son, Joe McGinniss, Jr. is a grown adult novelist.

I bet the guy is the only one staying there.

His wife and children are somewhere else.

No interest in her address, but I wouldn't be all that offended if this jerks family finds themselves being observed and stared at everywhere they went.

I was thinking the Palins should get some of that highly-reflective film used for sun-shields. Put it on all the windows facing his house. They could see out, but he would just see reflections. (hopefully...)

I didn't check it out, but I read on another thread that she put her own address and phone number on her website.

Using the device I put a link to, he could still record whispers coming from INSIDE the house from the window glass. I suggest you re-watch the video I linked to. Furtherm infrared cameras record from heat signatures and many home cameras have infrared. Reflective film would do nothing.

"someone like this has rationalized moving 4000+ miles away from everything he knows in order to destroy, through his writing, the person he sees as a serious threat to his political mindset."

Yeah could very well be Creepy but realize if another well know personality like any Recording artist or Movie star lived in the same house and lived the same lifestyle many writers would move into a house that close just for the opportunity to do interviews with locals and for the chance at daily talks and observations of the subject.

Palin is a Hot commodity right now as far as books and such go and no doubt people will buy this book in hopes of some real dirty laundry.

Situations like this are why celebs spend millions of bucks on elaborate homes that are near impossible to get close to.

It still creeps me out though because this guy is not going to write good things about Palin.

My apologies if someone has already pointed this out, but this is Palin’s fault. If she had simply arranged kickbacks for Tony Rezko, he would have bought up the property next door so she could have her privacy.
