Please pray for my nephew Daniel. He is two years old and went in for surgery to correct a congenital heart defect and there were severe complications. He is currently in PICU in Miami and I flew down here to be with my family for support.
Through all of this, my sister's grace has been inspiring to witness. Her inner light is just so blinding. I am literally in awe of her.
When she and her husband first arrived at the PICU, they befriended a nice Haitian couple whose daughter had sickle-cell. Yesterday, their daughter went back to God. My sister, rushed away from her own son to comfort them. I watched her tell both of them about how their daughter was now with God and how this was all part of God's plan. She was spreading the Good News.
Daniel has many people praying for him, but I would appreciate many, many more.
Thank you.
Prayers for little Daniel and his family.

Prayers up for Daniel.
Ohhh, what good news. I’ve prayed for Daniel since last night. In the Catholic religion, today is the day of the Holy Spirit and, at this morning’s Mass, I prayed for the Holy Spirit to shine His light and protection on little Daniel and give him the strenth to continue to improve. I also prayed for your sister, you and the family. Many prayers will continue to go with all of you.
Prayers up.
Prayers lifted for Daniel, his family....and all families who face such situations....I can’t even imagine such...it hurts just to think about it...
We noticed from the beginning how many babies are here in ICU with no one visiting them. Through this absolute angel we met in the room next to Daniel's, we found out that some of these babies have been basically abandoned in ICU. This very special woman, named Monica, has adopted babies twice from this hospital floor. She lost a baby girl two years ago to a failed organ transplant and then decided to adopt a very special little boy named Logan from the floor. Logan will be five next month. When Monica and her husband adopted him at two years of age, five of his organs had been transplanted. He is now deaf from medications and they just found out he has cancer, so they've begun chemotherapy. His parents are here everyday, selflessly giving their love to Logan and always with a smile on their faces.I have met both Logan and Monica. The blessings that I have received to have just been near such people is humbling.Since we have the attention of so many dedicated prayer warriors, we ask that you please say some prayers for Logan, for his parents, and for all of the babies and children that are 'on their own' here.
Prayers for Daniel and his loving family.
Prayers are offered for Little Daniel and his family, you included.

I thought that I would post an update to this thread. Daniel is doing better. They found out that he is Heparin-intolerant with HIT (Heparin Induced Thrombocytopenia). Once they brought him off Heparin and onto another blood-thinner, things started looking better. On Wednesday, the closed his chest (finally). On THU, he had some minor complications, including fever and low kidney output, but yesterday, he was looking so much better that my sister and brother-in-law decided that they could go back to their house for the night to see my niece, whom my parents were looking after.
To say that the power of prayer and God are working would be an understatement. A friend's grandmother had a dream that God told her that the medicines were wrong. She told the friend who relayed it to my sister who mentioned it to the doctor. The doctor, to his credit started a full inventory of the meds and that led to the critical discovery of Daniel's HIT.
Daniel strength throughout this has been inspiring. I heard several of the nurses, when talking about Daniel, exclaim "ohhh, he is a FIGHTER!"
Please continue your prayers. Thank you.
